This problem has been fixed by completely removing Photoshop and reinstalling it again.

Sorry this answer has nothing to do with the problem I'm having. Since it's not just text, the entire image gets pixelated after I hit save on the smart layer.

For the past month, whenever I save a file using a mockup (e.g., for stationery), the linework ends up heavily pixelated instead of sharp like it used to be. I haven’t changed anything—same Photoshop, same computer, no new installs. This just started happening out of nowhere one day at the office. What could be causing this? See image for reference.

Just talked with support since I was still under the idea that Adobe XD was being discontinued (that's the news that's still spreading till this day). Told me XD is 'still selling' and 'there is support for XD'. Doesn't say anything about 'updates' though. So still drawing a blank there. But since the merger didn't go through I hope they will rekindle their passion for XD.

Hi Kevin, Thank you for your prompt response. I would like to provide additional information. The problem seems to occur intermittently, varying on a daily basis or depending on the type of project I am working on (I'm not entirely sure of the exact cause). Although a simple restart of Photoshop typically resolves the issue, I am seeking a permanent solution. To reiterate, I am currently using the latest version of Photoshop, and there are no pending driver updates. I will try your suggested solution the next time the problem arises. Since today, I have not encountered the issue. Thanks!

I have encountered an issue in the latest version of Photoshop where dragging a layer results in the specific area I'm moving it to turning white, as depicted in the attached image. It is important to clarify that it is not the entire screen that turns white, but rather only the region affected by the layer movement. Additionally, I have learned that this problem is not unique to my workstation, as several colleagues in the office are also experiencing this issue, despite utilizing different PC setups. I would greatly appreciate any assistance from professional individuals who may possess a solution to this problem or have information regarding an upcoming update that will address this specific issue.

Hey Sameer, I would like to add that the issue is specific to my personal computer at the office. This is because every other computer in the office, including my home PC, displays the text with the correct level of sharpness. Therefore, it seems that the problem is only with my personal computer at the office, which is displaying the text as blurry or fuzzy. I have included both TXT files in this message for your reference, which I hope will provide some insight into the issue. As the problem with blurry text appears to be limited to my office PC, I did reset Photoshop, but unfortunately, it did not resolve the issue.

Yeah, when I said "PC," I was referring to the complete computer system, which includes the screen. Seems there's something wrong there.

Thank you for your suggestion, Jumpenjax. However, I prefer not to have a crisp look on my PC as the file is already displayed perfectly sharp. In fact, going from sharp to crisp actually makes the text appear more blurry, as I have recently tested. The issue seems to lie with the PC I use in the office, which displays the text as blurry, and I am currently trying to fix this. It appears that in the office, this particular PC handles typography in Photoshop differently from the others.

Both Sharp, since it's the same file. So no difference there. See the image for reference, the top one is the view at 100% - the others zoomed in a bit.

I work on two different computers, at work and at home. My Photoshop files on my work PC all have fuzzy/blurry texts in them, which I strongly dislike. Almost looks like I've put the texts on 'Strong'. Whenever I load the Photoshop file back at home, and I click the individual layers to write in them they get sharp again. I don't have this problem with AdobeXD. And it's not a matter of setting it to sharp/smooth (since I'm working in exactly the same file). The blurry variant is the one with the red circle. See the image for reference. Hopefully someone can shed some light on this or has a fix. 🙂
