Hello Souvik, Thank you very much for your answer! Somethings of the ones you mentioned I already tried without success before writing here(mainly the security options). I did try the other suggestion of yours, with some documents it's better but with other it still freezes. I run the diagnostic tool again and this is the ID: 360cdcea-abd8-4e84-87a6-2c8c438a00b6 (I already did a couple weeks ago but received no feedback with this ID 55189dc7-6b6f-412e-a323-6c16801e6e20) Hope this can help Thank you and have a good day Alberto

Hi all, This is a cry for help, I'm the IT Manager for an architectural firm. Some of our users are experiencing a lot of problems with Acrobat Pro, especially when the pdf are complicated drawings(we're an architectural firm after all :D). The file themselves are not heavy(like less than 5MB). I've tried basically everything I knew but it keeps happening, basically I did: -tinkered with various settings(new acrobat/old acrobat, latest version and previous versions etc) -unistalled and reinstalled Acrobat -unistalled and reinstalled all apps and the CC, using adobe cleaner and manually cleaning leftovers folder -changed windows profile Last weekend I did a clean installation of Windows and all other apps, Acrobat worked like for a couple hours anche then it broke again! One of the worst cases is one of our directors(the machine I did in the weekend was his), basically he cannot do anything: every time he opens a pdf it works maybe for a couple of pages but then it freezes and hang there forever, it doesn't crash. I also did a session with the tool Adobe Acrobat Diagnostics and sent the result but I haven't heard back. The ID is 55189dc7-6b6f-412e-a323-6c16801e6e20 Ah, the specs of the machine in question are Dell Precision 5490 Intel Core Ultra 7 165H 64GB of RAM nVidia RTX 2000 Ada Windows 11 24H2 If you ask me it should be more than enogh to read some pdf.... Please help me Alberto

Sorry for answering after some time, I finally did a clean Windows installation and it solved the problem! But it wasn't Adobe fault: doing some digging I found out that my nVidia GPU had lost(don't know how sincerely) CUDA and OPENCL support. Doing a clean install solved the problem with the gpu and Adobe.

I've solved the problem but I had to do a clean Windows installation. But in my case in wasn't Adobe fault, doing some digging I found out that my nVidia GPU had lost(don't know how sincerely) CUDA and OPENGL support. You can see that using a software like GPU-Z. Doing a clean install solved the problem with the gpu and Adobe.

Thank you for the quick response! Sadly tho, amongst the thousand things that I've tried. I already did that. I went even further and before reinstalling the Creative Cloud and the apps I deleted all the Adobe folders in %appdata% (local, locallow e roaming) e %programdata% etc etc About the other questions luckily it's only one user on one machine and we didn't change anything in the past 24 hrs. I think I'll need to find the time to make a clean install of windows and all the softwares! Thanks again anyway! Alberto

Hello, I'm writing here 'cause this problem is driving me crazy. I'm a system administrator for an architectural firm, from this morning Photoshop on one of our workstations keeps crashing whenever we open any file. It opens the file, almost immediately generates an error report and then it crashes to desktop both if you do send the report but also if you don't or close the message window. I've tried everything: tried with different versions of Photoshop(22.x and 23.x), different nVidia drivers(also used DDU), did an unistall and clean reinstall of Creative Cloud and the Adobe apps... Tried with different accouns on the same machine(both with or without admin rights), tried compatibility mode I don't really know what to do(apart from a clean install of Windows but I'd prefer to leave it as a last resort). What's driving me nuts is that yesterday everything was working fine and we didn't do any change(no windows updates etc). I can attach the log error. I've found countless topic with similar problems but none of them had a working solution apart a couple of topics where they'd suggest to disable UAC and we can't/won't do it for security reasons. The icing on the cake is that if we ignore the error message without sending or not sending the report the user can keep using the program but that's not a solution, just a workaround. System Spec: HP Z6 G4 Workstation 2x Xeon Gold 6148 64GB of DDR4 RAM nVidia Quadro RTX6000 Windows 10 Pro 21H2 Thanks in advance to anyone who will try to help Alberto
