Nope, it still happens on a Save As. Do it, it's replicable.

NEW DETAILS! I am also unable to reproduce it when creating a new document from "ctrl+n". I realized after, that these are the steps to recreate the issue. 1. Open an old document. 2. Save as > new document name. 3. Create bulleted list. 4. Close everything. 5. Open "newly" created document. 6. Experience bug.

1. The file is saved in .AI format. 2. The text was not converted to outlines nor was it exported. This is purely something happening in the UI and seems like it was intended. This could happen due to specific workflows or saving formats that don’t fully preserve dynamic properties. > This is happening with a normal workflow and is a bug in the software.

Okay, so I think I figured out what Illustrator is actually doing though I don't understand why it's coded this way. When you use the bullet feature it acts as it's own thing. The bullet is not able to be selected. It acts outside of what would be live text. The indentation is controlled by the Bullet and Numbering dialogue. However, if you close out of your document and then reopen it, Illustrator takes that information, converts your bullet into a glyph → • and then changes the paragraph indentation settings to keep what was formatted. The bullet becomes live text and is no longer controlled by the Bullet and Numbering dialogue. What are the chances Adobe wants to comment on this and explain why this half-baked feature was added?

I am using the new Bullets and Numbering feature and I've noticed that it works fine, unless you close your document, reopen, and then try to add more lines. The program forgets that you're using bullets and if you try to add a bullet again in the same text area box it indents all of the following lines after the first one.

This use to work but it seems like in the most recent version this breaks and no longer works.

This bug seems to have made it's way into the newest release. Does anyone know of a better program than Adobe or just a different one? I just can't with these poor, bug-laiden updates we keep getting.

This isn't a "new" scroll area. This has been available for several iterations. I think the community understands that this is AVAILABLE but also realizes that the new zoom function is bad and unnecessary.

I have since this post made a feature request, thank you. I have little faith anything will change, but, it's posted nonetheless.

Please add the following settings 1. Ability to disable zoom on the program window or change mouse scroll wheel behavior. While scrubbing on the timeline with the mouse wheel it's prone to accidentally moving the cursor over the video and unintentionally zooming causing a frustrating experience. 2. Setting to disable the nodes on audio transitions in the sequence timeline. They make it more difficult to make edits in the timeline.
Mod note: The title was changed slightly

This is very unhelpful and not the correct answer. I understand it's a new feature. I want the ability to disable it because it's annoying. I would think that it would have been obvious since I stated that in my post "...while you can technically still do that by placing the cursor at the bottom of the timeline the new change is just as frustrating as [having it jump around erratically]."

Has anyone figured out how to stop the mouse wheel from zooming while on the program window? I use to use the scroll wheel to scrub through the video in that window and while you can technically still do that by placing the cursor at the bottom of the timeline the new change is just as frustrating as having it jump around erratically. Someone, please tell me Adobe is also implementing a setting somewhere to TURN THIS STUPID FEATURE OFF!

I figured it out - when I move the points outside of the visible area using the sliders then try to drag the box in the monitor AE doesn't like that for some reason.

Not sure if anyone else is experiencing the issue below. I'm trying to move the feature center of the corner pin Track Point 4 and when I click and drag the box for Track Point 2, it shows up in the same spot and won't let me move it. I can move it via the sliders but I'd rather not do that for every single frame.

Currently, when you scrub on the project window with your mouse wheel quickly the timeline jumps around erratically which I understand is a feature. I hate it. The "solution" is to just move your mouse over the timeline of the project window instead which feels inneficient. Is there any way to stop this behavior of mouse wheel scrubbing on the project window?

Is anyone else seeing an issue where after clicking the "Transform images with AI" and "From idea to image in seconds" notifications in the Creative Cloud app they are just redirected to a web page that downloads the Creative Cloud install .exe? Seems like something is fundamentally broken in the notification tray or in Creative Cloud.
