When I edit from a sequence of raw material opened in the source viewer and then opened in edit window to my master sequence all works fine. But when I make a duplicate of my master sequence the workflow is broken. Premiere pro cuts kind of the whole sequence B again in my master seqence and nothing from my source sequence. Also Premiere ignores my in and out markers in the master sequence. I always have to close all sequences and reopen them again to make the editing work again. That is a real pain, if you have opened many source sequences and you do duplicating your master sequence for backup reasons a lot. Premiere Version 25.1 Steps to reproduce: - open one master seqeunce - open a sequence in source monitor and then open it with the wrench icon in edit window - mark in and out in the source sequence and cut in master sequence -> all is fine - then in the bin duplicate the master sequence (not renaming the opened master sequence) - now set in and out in the source sequence and edit in the master -> it edits some kind of weird copys of the master sequence i itself and nothing from the source sequence

After a lot of testing I found out that the driver of my Avid Artist Mix fader controller caused the crashes. I reverted to an older driver (Eucon 2021.10.1.29) and the crashes were gone.

Hello folks, has anyone successfully connected a Yamaha DM3 audio mixer in DAW-mode to Premiere Pro? I am using Premiere V25.1 and tried to connect the Yamaha DM3 to act as a fader controller via USB. The DM3 shows up in the preferences panel->fader controllers via the mackie protocol and shows "connected" for some seconds but then loses the connection. Also no faders move at the DM3. Regards Florian

HI @Astonished_motivation5639, thanks for the reply, the workaround via import did the trick for now.

I am facing an Issue that I sometimes cannot copy or move sequences from one project to another inside of a production. Normally I open two projects inside the production and I drag one sequence from one project window to the other and the sequence moves or gets copied if I press CTRL while I drag the sequence. But sometimes it does not work, showing me the "forbidden" sign. It seems to have something to do with the size or complexity of the sequence which fails to copy, or move. I am on PP 25.1 (Build 73) Regards Florian

@IanB_360, yes I could not reproduce the crashes working on a local project, where project files and mediafiles reside on a local SSD drive. But copying only the projectfiles to the local drive and leaving the media files on the network storage, the crashes occour. Also I think the more complex the sequence is, I try to open on the network storage the more the crashes happen.

Hi @IanB_360 , sorry for not complete following the bug report steps, I'll try again: Issue: Premiere Pro crashes when opening sequences. Sometimes when opening in source viewer and sometimes opening them "normaly" Adobe Premiere Pro version number: 25.1 (Build 73) Operating system: Windows 11 Pro 24H2 System Info: CPU, GPU, RAM, HD: CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) Ultra 9 285K 3.70 GHz GPU: Nvidia RTX 4070Ti Super GPU: 872.16 RAM: 64GB Hard Drive: external NAS (Avid Nexis pro, 20TB) via 10GB LAN Video format: XAVC-I 4:2:2 10-bit (UHD and HD) Workflow details: normal sequences, no specials like FX, plugins etc. Steps to reproduce - (Very important!): Open project, open sequence A, drag sequence B to source viewer, then the crash occours. Sometimes the crash is not happening directly, then you have to open more sequences (seqnece C, D) in source monitor, or close sequences and reopen them. It seems that it is all about opening sequences and it is kind of random, but the crash happens all the time Expected result: sequence opens in source monitor Actual result: crash It seems that it could have something to do with the external Storage (Nexis pro) an Windows 11, because I cpould not reproduce the crashes with an older machine on Windows 10 and also a local project (prect and mediafiles on a local SSD)

Hi, the same issue here. Version 24.0.3 on a HPZ4 workstation, Nvidia Quadro P1000 (Driver 537.58) I made a new project, imported one 29' clip (MXF op1a XDCAM HD 1080/50i), did some edits in my timeline and the video output monitores freeze. I can edit my timline, but when I hit play nothing happens and I have to restart premiere to work again. This also happened on Version 23.xx
