I've upgraded my MacPro Intel to a Mac Studio M1 Ultra and I get this error/crash when I open files on the M1 Mac created on the intel Mac. It seems like the M1 has hardware acceleration of ProRes and the intel did not and causes the crash. Just a theory... The fix is to use the "_1" aep file generated after the crash. This file opens fine on the M1.

The same exact issue just happened on my comptuer (Mac Pro Intel on Ventura 13.6.7). After uinstalling the beta version of Media Encoder (), it looks like it's running normal again.

I have had the same problem for a few versions now (from 22.x to 24.0.1). I'm surprised that it wasn't fixed. Have you contacted support? Did they find a solution? Thanks.
