I don't have very up-to-date equipment and I made a 1/4 ProRes proxy for the original 4k clips. But despite this, the playback was terrible, it was actually like a slideshow. Desperate, I started rummaging through the software monitor settings, I turned on HQ playback and suddenly a miracle happened - smooth playback returned. I couldn't believe my eyes and turned off the HQ playback back and saw the slideshow again. This illogical circumstance cost me a lot of time and nerves.

I suppose that if we can already use neural networks to create videos, then it won't be difficult to simply add the function of dubbing the audio track into other languages. Considering that we already have a translation of subtitles, we could probably make the necessary changes to them and press something like the "Dubbing" button, getting an audio track in which all participants would be able to pronounce the text from the subtitles with their own voices. This feature has been available for quite some time both as part of subscriptions to paid services and in free tools on GitHub. It's probably time to implement it in our multifunctional video creation tool. It should be added that there is also technology for synchronizing audio with the speaker's lips. However, this may complicate the task and require more processing time. Probably, this function could be added in updates as one of the settings that can be turned on or left off, focusing only on subtitles.

Hi, If I cut the master along the splice points and stretch (optical flow) the cut-out sequence, then at the beginning of the stretched sequence I get 1 frame from the previous sequence. I suppose nothing should be added from neighboring sequences to the one that was cut along the splices. My system: HP Z8 Windows 10Pro, GPU Nvidia RTX 3090Ti (Studio driver 566.36)

This completely violates any precise certification, so, for example, the industry leader Avid does something completely different.

Which Nvidia driver version was tested when this update was released? Don't say that I need to download a fresh driver, it's a headache, I got black holes with 555.99 WHQL 2024.6.4 (latest now) on 24.3.

Black holes on Nvidia Driver 555.99 WHQL 2024.6.4 I have to thank you for pointing out the working version of the driver(551.23 WHQL), as I got black holes on the export using Adobe's recommended fresh driver. I would strongly ask Adobe to specify the version of the driver that has been tested on the new release.

Has the problem of using rendered effects on exports been solved? This does not apply to smart rendering, which essentially consolidates files. If there are rendered previews on the timeline, why are they not taken into account when exporting?

So I guess your answer doesn't make sense. Since the topic of smart rendering has not been discussed here. And the question of support for the use of rendered effects on exports remains open.

Only if the codec supports the alpha channel, it can be supported. Anything that does not have alpha channel support should be thrown into the trash.

You made a comment, but you didn't vote for the idea. Then what is the point of discussing approaches? I have a variety of approaches depending on the situation, but we are talking about a new tool that expands the arsenal of tools.

Hi, Now there is a hype with the introduction of new features. There's a lot of fun in there, but I wanted to ask for something to work with. If I have a movie in which it is necessary to replace the titles with lower third, the sourcesare no longer available, then this turns into a real quest. I would like to suggest considering a replacement by example mechanism when you need to change something that already exists to another option. Sometimes you need to remove the titles or subtitles completely, this is also often impossible to do without artifacts. I think many in the industry will appreciate it. Thank you

Hi, I waited a long time and was lazy to write this, believing that this feature would appear soon. If I have a file and I just want to replace the sound in it without opening Adobe Premiere, then I don't have that option right now. I ask you to add this in new versions along with the function to copy any track without transcoding, as I wrote earlier. So far, I have to use a lot of additional tools to do the work that could be done in one program. Thank you

It is very annoying that a commercial encoder does not allow you to simply replace the audio track without recompressing, whereas free utilities easily do this.

It's sad. In fact, I used to be in a situation where Avid did not have an AMA tool and any imported file had to be transcoded. Then AMA plugins from the creators of the formats appeared and all formats began to be read correctly without transformations. Adobe Premiere initially seemed to allow you to work with files directly, but in fact it turns out not to be so.

I don't need a sound wave either, I've been working by ear all my life and have never switch on in other programs. Now that I have to work in Premiere Pro, even disabling the sound wave does not stop this process. I'm not worried about performance, I just want to turn it off to free up the network channel to work, instead of waiting forever. Any hint...

I recently installed Influx and thought that the problem might be in it, but disabling it did not become a solution. I get a black screen on the XDCAM HD file on the timeline. When rebooting and clearing the cache, it sometimes displayed an image with the GPU turned off, but the encoder refused to do this. I got around this problem by installing the previous version of Premiere Pro 23.6.4 in parallel. p.s. Why hasn't Adobe made a downgrade mechanism for the project yet? Even the epic Avid allows you to open projects on previous versions. I had to go online to downgrade the project version.

I updated the gpu driver and got a black screen. But before I realized what was going on, I found a recommendation on YouTube to disable Mercury playback. And I wanted to solve the driver problem and went to the GPU and GPU Driver Requirements for Premiere Pro page. There I found a link to the 516.94 driver. I installed the recommended driver and tried to run Premiere. The result is shown in the screenshot. I don't know how surprising a situation can be when a driver recommended by the company is identified as a problem. We get a couple of new versions of the program every year, but no one seems to want to think about testing it on recommended hardware. We are told to update the drivers to the latest ones. But how reasonable is this recommendation when no one has tested how the new driver will manifest itself?

You need to understand, the task is not to improve something with updates, but to convince investors that everything is going on as it should. There are many muddy firms that produce for money what could have become part of the product for a long time, but never became and never become ... lol

Hi, I continue to study this wonderful conversion tool. But I'm confused that I can't find a way to not recode the audio or video stream, but just add it unchanged. This feature is available in a lot of free tools and probably in this advanced one, but I can't find it. Is there any clue? Thank you

There seems to be no need for restrictions. It's just that users should be informed about possible problems, but I would suggest leaving the choice to the users. I hope my idea will be useful.

In this case, it might be a good idea to add a drop-down menu to the shared filters panel, through which it would be possible to add any installed filters directly to the file encoding task. And I would also suggest placing a "+" to create a processing pipeline. It seems that this would not create any particular difficulties for developers. Nevertheless, thanks for the clarification.

Hi, So, we already have the 2024 version of the encoder. Nevertheless, to my shame, I still cannot figure out all its rich possibilities. I found out that there is no special filter for deinterlacing. But so far I can't find a way to add something from the filters that are installed in Premiere without opening it. So, how can I use the filters installed directly in the encoder? When I start it, I see their list running through, but where are they, how do I apply them? Thanks.

Thnak you, @Kevin-Monahan., I just checked the information in your link. It has a really good description. However, I did not find the answer to my question there: how to export only video or only sound in AAF. At the moment I am creating a separate sequence, from which I delete the video and all unused tracks, except for V 1, which cannot be deleted. I think this is a temporary solution until the appropriate settings appear in the export settings.

There doesn't seem to be much difficulty, I just wanted to clarify how to export audio only or video only? Sometimes it is enough to transmit only the sound. I just wish I had more control over the process. For reference, I'm attaching the AAF export settings window from AvidMC. Thanks
