There are some alerts which always delay the actions and I think they don't need to pop-up, like changing font that is not installed, importing character/paragraph styles, or some scripting sets up,... Is there any way to skip those thing? Like, when I change the font, I surely want to replace it by the action I created so I don't want to click Replace with each text layer anymore. Or while Import Character styles it's clearly that I wanna replace the existing one - the default set name None of every file. I don't know why those alerts need to pop-up, some of my actions being useless while the action keeps stopping to made me click and click just to make it continue. I tried to find ways to turn them off, but there's no tutorial about this problem (yes, I also tried to turn off Warning dialogs in Preference but it's not for me, and the actions with text layer couldn't turn off the "toggle"). Please help me!

Thank you very much for helping me, so enthusiastic! I've tried the script, it worked great with text has same name with the shape below it, but not affect if they had different name. Most time we have the layers like this: If it's impossible for making a code for this kind of layer, I think I would rename the shapes as the text above it, but uh... It would be another problem when I have to rename a lot of layers haha! Do you have other idea?

Thanks for your detailed asking! These are my answers: - The files will not only have 2 groups, it may have more groups like these. But the "animal shape" and "text" will always stand above of the 'background', other will not be important: - Each group has various layers (not only 3, sometimes it only has one, sometimes it has 10), but there're always a text above of a vector layer. - Yes, text layer in the TEXT group always match the same layer stacking order position in the ANIMAL SHAPE group and layer. - The name of text layer will not same as the shape name

Thank you Sir for giving me a hand! This is my layers set, the 'filename' is always at the top and will also be filled with variable content, so it will be change with the set for sure: For not to affect other contents, I will put the 'filename' far from the view area. The file will be saved as the content of this 'filename', so this is the only effect of this layer. I will send you a sample of this file

Hello everybody! I have a bunch of exported psd files from using variable data set. However, the filename is so hard to distinguish because, as you know, they are named by numerical order. I am looking for a way to rename those files by the content of its top text layer (that text layer always at top). I tried to search but could not find any way to save the files as psd/psb. Any idea?

ooh, would I request another thing? While I run your script, a new text layer created above the old one, so they are arranged alternately. Is there anyway to move those point text layers atop or completely separated with the old? Your script is completely awesome now, if this is not possible then I will separate them by hand

Actually in my work, the alignment of the shape is not so important, we need the text just be at the center of the shape, most of them will be round or rectangular ( the top one I just drawn is a random one, but it was so distort haha, pls forget about it) The Point text is one of our required task. When we haven't found out the Path text, we broke the line by feelings (it means keep pressing enter, and delete, and enter, delete until the text looks fine, that thing wasted almost time). I wished they would keep working with Path text, but they don't want to 😞

Thank to many helps from this forum that now I could improve all my works! Now I have a new trouble about typing inside the shape/path. As y'all know, the path text is very awesome for typing inside shapes, but it could never be turned into point text (or paragraph text, of course haha). My first solution is: breaking lines of the text by continuing press end > enter until the last line, then copy the whole content into a new point text layer. However, there are so many text layers now, that I could not done by hand anymore! I tried auto keyboard but not very effective, now I need a solution as a script or action. Is it possible in photoshop? I've attached the sample file, thank you very much for taking an attention to this post!

I have tons of layers which each of them are the random shapes. They're rasterized and in a group like this: I used to make their work paths by merging them and took selection of the whole layer: However, this way is not suitable anymore for my work, so I have to create separated paths. I was looking for some faster ways to convert those rasterize shapes into vector layers, but it seems hopeless. Could anyone help me this?

I've complete some psd files which contained a lot of text layers, but I forgot to separate them into lines ( they must be broken at each comma & dot). For example: "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit" The result must be "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit" Tried with Find and replace tool but I don't know which line break symbol is. Does anyone have any idea to help me?
