I have tried all those suggestions, thank you. I'm on my 3rd completely clean reinstall of creative cloud.. and it still does not show me everything I am seeing when I look at the account via the browser. Something is not connecting in the actual application. I am on a Macintosh - and I am on the most recent version that our IT department is allowing us to be on.

Note: I did go to the link you posted, however I do NOT have the files they are saying to backup and I have admin access, plus can see the Library > Application Support > Adobe files. There is just NO CoreSync file to make sure I have a copy of. So, I am not sure that this has been updated since I am now on 12.6 and the article is for after 10.7 - it feels like there are a few missed steps or a file change not documented. Thanks

I honestly think their 'fix' was to just add that error message and forget that components have problems. We are still trying to minimize what is in a component, but it's making into very complicated and confusing files.

No, I never got a reply nor was it fixed. I am still having issues when working with components - but I uswe them for prototypes. It is really limiting me in the files I can actually create. Now when I use several on a file I get the warning at the bottom saying I need fewer layers. Apparently it seems thatt each item is a layer. The error message is NOT solving anything. I need to be able to work with the components.

I have tried that - however I have some linked components that are not giving me the option to make them into a local component as well. This is RIGHT AFTER I have copied them from another document - so I did not change the name of the component in the document they originated from.

I have tried to share via the CreativeCloud - and it does NOT provide a way to create a link when I create a folder. It allows me to invite someone, but I need that person's email. So, CreativeCloud does NOT allow me to create a link for you whether or not it is in a folder. As for the dropbox, I will see if I have access to one where I can provide you with that link and/or access.

Thank you for the reply, I have tried opening the file directly and from recent files - it makes no difference in how long the file takes to open. It is not a cloud document, we gave up on those due to the lag and it took even longer to make updates and open files if they were a cloud file - it is the most current version of XD as well. Checking with my manager to see if I can share the file or not.

Made the component a local one - and still having it hang whenever I change the state of the component that has been copied to another artboard. As soon as I deal with a decent sized component with several states XD slows down considerably. It isn't any network connection, it is ONLY XD when I am working with this file. It even does it when there are no other applications open. Is this a bug that is going to be fixed?

I have two new force quit error logs I can email you - since I cannot attach the text files and when I try to paste the text in here - it freezes this page and I have to force quit this view in Chrome.

Using Adobe XD Creative Cloud 28.9.12.2, on catalina 10.15.4 It is nested components AND components with multiple states.. mainly when I am using them linked from another XD file, however it seems counterproductive to have a new component in each separate file if they are made to be reused. the specific file hangs when TRYING to open, whenever it is updated, it hangs and many times I have to force quit the application. It is with any file that is using a linked component with states (which mess up a lot but that is a different issue) and with several different components. I'll have to ask my manager if I can share the file or not.
