You’ve posted to an old thread. It is highly unlikely that the issue described in this thread, though not impossible, is the same one you are currently experiencing. Rather than resurrect an old thread that is seemingly similar, you are better off posting to a new thread with fresh, complete information, including system information, a complete description of the problem, and step-by-step instructions for reproduction along with the screenshots.
Thanks,
Shivani

Hi there,
We're sorry for the trouble. We need more details to help you.
What version of Photoshop and operating system are you using?
To resolve the current error, please see: https://adobe.ly/40kETxD
For additional information on how to resolve connection errors, see https://adobe.ly/3DJbxjS
If you have taken no action to change the configuration on the computer, then I would recommend reviewing the settings for any installed security software to verify any updates were applied successfully and are not blocking access to Adobe servers. Security software updates often occur without user intervention, so that the updates could have been applied without your knowledge.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks,
Shivani

Thanks for sharing the details. You have two GPU drivers: NVIDIA, which was last updated 5 months ago, and Intel, which is 29 months older. Please update both of your GPU drivers from the manufacturer's site.

Hey Jorge,
Welcome to the Lightroom Community. We need more details to help you.
What version of Lightroom and Windows are you using?
Would you mind sharing the screenshot of the error?
These symptoms can occur when Lightroom can't write the .lrcat-data file for some reason, either because LR has corrupted it or there is a permissions issue. LR stores computed masks in that file. Try these steps:
1. In Lightroom, do Edit > Catalog Settings > General > Show. That will open Windows File Explorer on the current catalog folder. 2. Exit Lightroom. 3. Move the file <catalog>.lrcat-data to the Desktop. 4. Start Lightroom. 5. In Library, select all photos and do Photo > Develop Settings > Update AI Settings. That will recompute all the AI masks, which could take a while. But it won't update Generative Removes, so you'll have to go to each photo with Remove, click on Remove, and then Update.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks,
Shivani

Hey there,
We're sorry for the trouble with Lightroom. We need more details to help you.
What version of Lightroom Classic and Windows are you using?
Would you mind sharing the screenshot of what's happening?
Do you want a specific size or specific aspect ratio when you resize? What are you getting that is not correct?
Does this happen with any specific image or with all the images?
To shrink photos back to their original size in Lightroom, you can follow these steps:
Open Lightroom and select the photo you want to resize.
Go to the Develop module by clicking on the Develop tab.
If you have cropped the photo, you can reset the crop by selecting the Crop Overlay tool (press R) and then clicking on the Reset button in the Crop panel.
To ensure the photo is at its original size, you can also check the Image Size settings when exporting. Go to File > Export and in the export dialog, make sure to set the dimensions to match the original size or select Resize to Fit and specify the original dimensions.
If you want to maintain the original aspect ratio, ensure that the Don’t Enlarge option is checked when exporting.
Click Export to save the photo at its original size.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks,
Shivani

You might have accidentally selected a different mask overlay. Try changing the mask overlay mode to 'Color overlay' and check if the masks are inverted when created.
If that does not help, reset Lightroom following the second (manual) method from this article: https://adobe.ly/3VXzvya
Let us know how it goes.

Hey there,
Welcome to the Photoshop Community.
Absolutely, you can uninstall an older version of Photoshop. To do this, follow these steps:
Open the Creative Cloud desktop app. You can find it in your Windows taskbar or the macOS menu bar.
Go to the Apps tab and scroll to the Installed section.
Locate the older version of Photoshop you want to uninstall.
Click on the More Options icon (three dots) next to the app.
Select Uninstall from the dropdown menu.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the uninstallation process.
If you encounter any issues during the uninstallation, you may refer to this: https://adobe.ly/4iT1l8A

Hey Peter,
We're sorry for the Lightroom Classic image issue. We need more details to help you.
Please share the system info of Lightroom Classic from Help > System info > Copy & paste into a text in the reply.
Where are the images stored in an internal or external drive?
The first thing that you should try is to switch off the GPU support from the Lightroom preferences and check if that helps to fix the issue.
Go to Lightroom > Preferences > Performance tab > Uncheck "Use Graphics Processor" > Restart Lightroom.
https://adobe.ly/3ZRYAf5
Another step is to try to reset the Lightroom preferences.
https://adobe.ly/3BSvd44
It's recommended to backup your preferences before you reset the preferences to the default settings:

Let us know if this helps.

Hey there, Welcome to the Photoshop Community.
To automate cutouts in Photoshop using AI for artistic projects, you can utilize the Generative Fill feature. Here’s how to do it:
Open your image in Photoshop and select the layer you want to work with.
Use a selection tool (like the Lasso or Quick Selection tool) to select the area you want to cut out.
Click on Generative Fill in the Contextual Task Bar. You can type a prompt to specify what you want to fill the selected area with, or leave it blank to simply remove the content.
Review the generated options and select the one that best fits your artistic vision.
Refine your selection if necessary using the Refine Edge Brush tool to ensure smooth edges, especially around intricate areas like hair or detailed shapes.
Output your selection as a Layer Mask to keep your edits non-destructive, allowing you to adjust them later if needed.
Save your work by exporting the final image in your desired format.
You can check this for more details: https://adobe.ly/4gNMZ7w

Hi there,
Thanks for reaching out. We're sorry for the trouble with Lightroom Classic, and we're here to help.
What version of Lightroom and Windows are you using?
If you have assigned function keys to keyboard shortcuts in Lightroom Classic and are now using a new computer, you can view the default keyboard shortcuts directly within the app. Here’s how to access them:
Open Lightroom Classic on your new computer.
Go to the menu and select Help.
Click on Keyboard Shortcuts or press Shift + ? to view the shortcuts for your current workspace.
You can check here for a list of keyboard shortcuts:
https://adobe.ly/3VDAljs
This will help you recall the function keys you had assigned previously and assist you in getting back to your workflow.
