Hey @David30125243i5sb Hope you are doing good! It sounds like Illustrator is not recognizing the holes as true cutouts. Try this: 1) Ensure Compound Path: Select the belt and holes, then go to Object > Compound Path > Make before using Extrude and Bevel. 2) Outline Strokes: If your belt has strokes, go to Object > Path > Outline Stroke first. 3) Recreate with Path Finder: Use Minus Front in path finder instead of Shape Builder 4) Check Appearance Panel: Ensure no unwanted fills are applied. Let me know if this helps!

Hello everyone ! I am experiencing an issue in Adobe Premier Pro 24.1 (latest version) where audio waveforms are not appearing in the timeline. This makes precise editing difficult. Here are some details of the issue: The audio plays fine but no waveforms are visible. I tried deleting cache , refreshing waveforms, enabling/disabling waveform display and restarting Premier Pro. My system specs are MacBook Pro M2 Max, macOS Ventura 13.6. Project settings are: Standard sequence, 48 kHz audio, MP4/MOV files. Is this a known bug or is there another fix? Any assistance would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Hey @StephenFisherPhoto Hope you are doing well ! The issue is most likely due to Photoshop's updated "Save As" behavious. Try these solutions. 1) Use "Save a copy" - Instead of "Save As", go to File > Save a Copy, which will allow you to select JPEG as the default format. 2) Enable Legacy "Save As" - Go to Preferences > File Handling , check Enable Legacy Save As, and restart Photoshop. 3) Reset Preferences - If the issue persists, reset Photoshop preferences by holding Option + Command + Shift when launching the app. Let me know if it helps!

Photoshop on iPadOS has come a long way, but do you feel it is still missing key desktop features? Or have you discovered hidden tools that boost productivity? Some pros & cons I’ve noticed: Pros: - Apple Pencil support makes retouching smoother - Cloud Integration keeps projects synced Cons: - Limited brushes and smart objects compared to desktop - No custom plugins yet What’s your experience? Is Photoshop on iPadOS enough for pro work, or do you still rely on a desktop? Let me know !

Hey @hendy_5450 Hope you are doing good ! The easiest way to create a realistic shadow for the donkey is: 1) Duplicate the donkey layer: Place it below the original. 2) Convert to Black Silhouette: Use hue/saturation (reduce lightness) or Fill with Black. 3) Blur the shadow: Apply Gaussian Blur for softness. 4) Distort for Perspective: Use transform > Distort/skew to align with the ground. 5) Adjust Opacity: Lower Opacity and use multiply blend mode for realism. This keeps the shadow natural and integrated into the scene. Thankyou!

Hey @gilles28208427qxhg Hope you are doing well! This seems like a compatibility issue with Illustrator v29.3.1. Try these fixes: 1) Check PDF import settings: Ensure "Import PDF Pages as Links" is unchecked. 2) Reinstall Illustrator: Downgrade to the previous version (same as your colleague's) to check if the issue persists. 3) Place Instead of Open: Use File > Place instead of opening the PDF directly. 4) Re-embed Images: If possible, ask the client for a version with embedded images. Let me know if it helps! Thankyou!

If you are facing issues copying or moving sequences between projects inside a Premier Pro Production, where dragging a sequence gives you the "forbidden" sign, you are not alone ! This often happens due to sequence complexity, cache issues or project settings. Here are some tested solutions to fix the probelm: 1) Check Read/Write Permissions: Ensure both projects inside the production have the correct file permissions. 2) Use Import Instead: Instead of dragging, try file > import and manually select the sequence. 3) Clear Media Cache: Go to edit > preferences > media cache and clear old cache files. 4) Duplicate the sequence: Right-click on the sequence, duplicate it and try dragging the duplicate. 5) Create a new project: Copy the problematic sequence into a new standalone project and then reimport it into the production. If none of these work, try resetting Premier Pro Preferences (press alt+shift while launching). Hope this can help everyone. If you have other solutions then you are more than welcome to add. Thankyou !

Hey @Florian_Stgt How are you doing ? This issue in Premiere Pro 25.1 could be due to project corruption, sequence complexity, or media cache issues. Try these steps: 1) Check Read/Write Permissions - Ensure both projects inside the production have proper write access. 2) Use Import Instead - Instead of dragging, try File > Import and select the sequence manually. 3) Clear Media Cache - Go to Edit > Preferences > Media Cache and clear cache files. 4) Duplicate the sequence - Right click the sequence, duplicate it and then try dragging the duplicate. 5) Create a new project - Copy the problematic sequence into a new standalone project, then import it back. Let me know if it helps! Thankyou !

Hey @Irshad_Hossain0041 Hope you are fine This happens because both text layers share the same Layer Style Instance in Premier Pro. To apply different bevel settings to each text layer: 1) Convert One Text Layer to Essential Graphics - Right-click the text layer, select "Upgrade to source graphic" to make it independant. 2) Duplicate and Modify - Instead of copying the text layer, create a new one and apply separate Bevel settings. 3) Use Seperate Adjustment Layers - If needed, apply different effects to each text layer using adjustment layers. This should resolve the issue.

Hey @defaultgzkxy7o55slh Hope you are doing fine! Well that's not a stupid question at all - you're likely dealing with a setting that was accidentally changed. Based on your description, it sounds like "Trimmed Layer Preview" or "Live Preview During Trim" is enabled. Try one of these solutions: 1) Disable Trim / Drag Preview - Edit > Preferences > Timeline - Uncheck "Show preview during trimming" 2) Toggle Program Monitor Settings - Check the wrench icon in the Program Monitor - Disable "High Quality Playback" and "Show Transport Controls" - Ensure "Composite Video" is selected instead of "Alpha" 3) Check GPU Acceleration - File > Project Settings > General - Switch Renderrer to Mercury Playback Engine Software only 4) Reset Workspace and Preferences - Window > Workspaces > Reset to saved layout - Hold Alt (Windows) / Option (Mic) while launching Premier to reset preferences. This should fix the issue.

Hey @foivos_7446 Hope you are doing good ! Well you are on the right track. Since your main footage (10 min) doesn't have audio but you have a longer reference clip (50min) that matches the audio, follow these steps: 1) Align the reference clip with the audio: Use the longer clip to sync with the audio first, ensuring they match perfectly. 2) Find the matching section: Identify the exact portion of the longer clip that corresponds to your 10 min footage. 3) Align the footage: Match the 10 min video to the same section of the reference clip. 4) Replace the video: Once synced, remove the reference clip, keeping the 10 minute footage correctly aligned with the audio. If the reference clip has visible markers (like a slate or specific motion cues), use those to improve accuracy.

Hi @Innotex Nico Tanne You can use the following script in Photoshop: var doc = app.activeDocument; var smartObject = doc.activeLayer; smartObject.activeLayer.appliedSmartFilters[0].remove(); Ensure the smart object has a smart filter before running. Thankyou!

Hi MatZelek Hope you are doing fine It sounds like a compatibility issue with Photoshop 2025on your new M4 Macbook Pro. Try using these troubleshooting steps: 1) Check Photoshop video support - Ensure Photoshop supports the specific codec of your video files. 2) Enable Rosetta (if applicable) - Some apps may require Rosetta to run properly on M-series Macs. 3) Grant Full disk access - Go to system settings > Privacy and security > Full disk access and add Photoshop to ensure it has permission to access files. 4) Reset Photoshop Preferences - Hold cmd + option + shift while launching Photoshop, then confirm the reset. 5) Reinstall Photoshop - If none of the above steps work then uninstall and reinstall Photoshop. If the issue still not resolved, then check for Adobe Support for potential compatibility fixes.

@rgibsHope you are doing well Well as far as your issue is concerned, i believe it is due to corrupt preferences or window snapping settings. Try to reset Acrobat Preferences / Disable Windows snap assist / Shift + Resize These alternates can be helpful to you in my opinion.

This issue mostly arises due to Baseline Alignment or Path Direction. Firstly open the Character Panel and check whether Baseline Shift is at 0 or not. I hope this will solve the issue.
