Those who make selections not by color, but by numbers will not have problems, I do it only 1, if you do it with different numbers, then after you have made a selection and you need to start processing, you can simply put a red marker (6) on all selected photos, for example, with number 2, and so for each number do it in different colors! Then, after processing, return to the photo with the red marker and put the number (2) on all the photos again.
