This "fix" (its not really a fix) only works for very basic pdfs consisting of balck text only. Anything with images etc will not be helped by this.

As stated throughout this thread, that "fix" (its not really a fix - it just hides the underlying issue) only works for basic pdfs consisting of simple text. Anything with images etc still has yellow background issues. It has certainly helped me with basic pdfs created from Word files, but its not a solution for more complex pdf files.

That works on simple black text pdfs, but doesn't help with any pdf with images etc.

I have two Windows 10 laptops - both fully updated. Running Acrobat DC Pro on both - fully updated. One has had the yellow background issue, but the other laptop hasn't!

I had this problem in Acrobat. Lots of similar posts since latest update. This fixed it: go to ‘Edit’ then ‘Preferences’ Select ‘Accessibility’ Check ‘Replace Document Colors’ Select ‘Use Windows Color Scheme’ Press ‘OK’

This worked to fix this issue for me: go to ‘Edit’ then ‘Preferences’ Select ‘Accessibility’ Check ‘Replace Document Colors’ Select ‘Use Windows Color Scheme’ Press ‘OK’ There's a couple of other posts on this issue since recent update. Adobe are aware and investigating.

Replace Document Colours is not ticked. But if I tick it and selct white, the background does turn white. But this is not a real solution, it just hides the problem.

Every pdf I create - from a Word document or create blank page - has a yellow background. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and it hasn't fixed it. Version 2021.007.20091. When opened in another program, they are normal white, so the problem is viewing/display.
