I have never used snapshots before but with the recent inclusion of the Adaptive Color profile are started adding one to gauge the differences against other profiles. The process I followed is make the required changes to a photo and click the + in the Snapshots dropdown. But when I click the snapshot listed under the dropdown, even before making any other changes to the photo, the photo updates with increased exsposure and looks washed out.
Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

Photoshop v25 (full, not beta) has now been released and the remove tool is now working perfectly for me using a Ryzen 3000 CPU. Thankyou Adobe people. Everyone else now trouble free?

Should have said that this is using the latest version of 24.6 and also the latest beta version. Graphics driver is 31.0.15.3623, the latest. Windows 11 GTX 1650. Spent another 90 minutes with support yesterday who still refuse to escalate it. What is dissapointing is that an Adobe employee started replying on this thread but has now disappeared.

Spent over an hour with someone on support who tried various fixes to no avail. My PC then crashed and I lost the chat connection. Reconeccted and asked if this problem could be escalated to be told that it can't until other options are tried! The only other thing to try would be a complete re-installation of windows.

Well there's a funny thing. I had a windows update yesterday so I thought I'd try reinstalling Photoshop to see if ir fixed the remove tool error. It didn't but I noticed that the Spot Healing Brush tool now seems to behave like the Remove tool should (if I understand the Remove tool correctly that is). The Spot Healing Brush can be used to "paint" an object which PS then removes. Don't know if this happened before the re-install. See attached for example.

I was wondering about this. Do we even need a Remove tool when Generative Fill in the Beta versions seems to do such an excellent job of removing unwanted elements? Are you saying that the Remove tool as an advantage?

I have the same problem with the Remove tool not working. Tried the Beta version as well and it doesn't work there either. Please fix.
