I've just ran into the same issue, and to my surprise running AE as Admin also did the job for me. But the even bigger, bad surprise (well, actually no...) is that a company that charges so much for its software is unable to fix such an obviously simple issue (that requires a workaround from Windows XP times; I'm just glad I'm not in a corporate environment where there's no way for this anymore) in more than a year! More than 4 years later... Adobe's behavior and the state of their products is actually beyond, and it gets even worse now with A"I"! I'm just glad that I didn't pay for this (they gave me away a year's worth of subscription for free since they broke my CS6 license from 2012), and I'm glad there's a skilled community willing to help out with workarounds to such actually most basic questions! ...
