Hallo Monica, i agree that actually is the only solution, but I have sometimes a lot to process, so i am just faster with shortcuts. My question was if it is just a little bug or there is another shortcut, i wonder something that works well with windows doesn´t work with Mac.

I am sorry but i tested all settings options even performace and check off "wiederherstellung" , checking out svg... if i try very often StrgX > StrgV happens the same problem. i am sure that i work correctly because if i StrgX the object disappears, so it is not my faou an the keyboard as you see on the screenshot it is an easy object. if StrgZ and I try again... it works. attached cpu performance

I don´t have installed a software for any performace, but i use a gaming pc may it has something built inside. anyway this troble is new for me just since CC 2 updates ago, before i did not have this problem. now i tought i will ank if it is onl my problem or someone else too. i have the standard antivirus from microsoft. I will ty without SVG , attached the settings. than i will report tomorrow it the problem persist. About SVG Code save, what happens if ithis option is checked on or out?

usuall i don´t use the menu, beause i work a lot with illustrator, all the day on Ai i can not use the menu, but 80% of the time works well, than suddently doest´t work, now i tested many time with menu, the same objekt, cut > paste ... after around 10 times same problem. So i can`t explain the reason, if it was caused from a file, or a strange object i coud understand. But if i retry with the same object works... or maximum 2 times does´t work than works again.

Sometimes, when i cut STRG-X an element, that disappers as he shoud, and if i want to paste STRG-V doesn´t work, really strange because usually works well, and sometimes not.... if i go back and retry than may works. this problem i have on my pc only wtith illustrator, no other programs has the same problem. someone the same problem?

We start thinking i have a line in front of me, not designed myself, or a long times ago, i can't not know from what side is original drawed.... So if I visually see a botton-arrow that shows the right side and by clicking comes left side... i think it is strange. If tecnically it is not possible to make this better, ok i understand, if possible mahe changes her my Suggestions: vertically: 1 to 179 degrees right side - 181-359 degrees left side, i suggest 0 degrees right side and 180 degrees left. If a person has always the same result, can remember it, actually it is a random lucky game.

I know the arrows suit the path direction, but i think it is logical suit the direcion left - right, cause if you look on a line you can not see in wich direction the line was drawn.

since a long time exist this problem, as user we learned to work with tihs mistake, but i think after so many versions it is time to fix the problem. See picture attached arrows goes in the wrong direction, it is not logical.

Hi pixxxelschubser Werde ich mal dort posten, danke auf jeden Fall Version 25.0.1 Normalerweise verwende ich schortcuts aber ich habe das auch mit Objekt> Transformieren> Spiegeln getestet und das Problem tauch trotzdem auf. Verbluffend ist weil das passiert nicht immer. Aber Kommt vor wenn man viel spiegelt. leider kann ich hier keine Datei hochladen besteht keine Möglichkeit.

Illustrator 21 Zwischendurch kommt immer dieser Fehler, Ein Objekt wird gespiegelt, Achse VERTIKAL. Das Objekt wird Kopiert, nochmal gespiegelt und er merkt sich die letze Einstellung und wird wieder auf die VERTIKALE achse gespiegelt. Dann zwischendurch plötzlich schägt er die Achse WINKEL vor. So etwas ist mir in die alte Versionen nie vorgekommen. ich arbeite den ganzen Tag mit Illustrator und so etwas ist auffällig.

Thank you Monika Gause, i fixed the problem doing like suggested in the tread von joosdm20559267 am 22.10.2018 12:04 just set for my needs, so i am writing my modifications if someone has the same problem. hoping that the new version fix the bug, it is possible to open a .pdf default with illustrator on this way: First check wether you have all the newest updates from adobe CC and if you indeed have Illustrator version 23 installed. You can check this in the about info in the help menu !! Be aware that making the wrong changes trough regedit can be harmful to your Windows installation !! Press start button + R at the same time Type in Regedit and press ok. You will probably get a Yes / No Windows security question > select yes Regedit opens Browse to Computer > HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT > .pdf (or anoter file you want to open default) Check the entry called: (Default) If it says Adobe.Illustrator.22 (or another entry) you can try changing it by double clicking the entry to Adobe.Illustrator.23 After you made the changes click ok and close regedit and try clicking an Illustrator file

Since the new update 23.0.1 it is not more possible to open a file default with illustrator. just illustrator files opens with illustrator, is no more possible pdfs... eps... i tried several times installing and unistalling illustrator different versions. the problem persist. Now i installed both, CC2019 and CC2018, and the same, it is not possible to change starts only default with cc2018. (or other apps) but never with CC2019. After 7 installations of new and old versions, removing all files from C registry, an comparing with my older pc with windos 7 (there are no problems), i can not find a solution. asus gt752v Windows 10 see attached screnshot.
