Freeing up more space has not helped. Here's my current Scract Disks info: The problem with PhotoShop locking up happens in both regular PhotoShop (26.3.0) and Beta (26.4.0). So far today, both versions have locked up when working on relatively small files (less than 50MB). Most recently, I was making an extensive selection, and the app froze after about 30 minutes. Upon relaunch, no recovered files were opened. I regularly update both the standard version and beta version. I do this all the time. My job requires finished files in CMYK, but Camera Raw and some of my filters (NIK and Luminar Neo) reguire RGB. You might want to convert from RGB to CMYK to check the color gamut, then convert it BACK to RGB for editing in Camera Raw - and then back to CMYK for printing. ... View more

Adobe does not allow you to use images that are copywrited, such as movie characters, comic book characters, celebrities, or any other images protected by copywrite, like Disney or Marvel. They will never fix this, as it is not a bug, it's intended to protect Adobe from being accused of copywrite infringement. The reason it matters to the OP is the same reason it matters to me. When I export images for a client in JPG for, the client doesn't necessarily see the pixel dimensions, the client sees a thumbnail that shows it as 72 ppi. We have several clients who explicitly state that they want the files to be 5" x 5" in RGB at 300 ppi. I am not interested in trying to make the client understand that there's no difference in the file whether it says 72 ppi or 300 ppi. I just want Bridge to display the ppi the way I saved it. Many times Bridge won't even show the size or the ppi. Here's a screenshot of a JPG I created minutes ago.   . I know that YOU don't care about the file's ppi setting, but you're a professional. I haven't figured out the problem, but I do have some additional information. Copy/Paste still doesn't work - although Copy Merged does - but if I switch from PhotoShop to any other application, then go immediately back into Photoshop, the problem is resolved. Attached are two screenshots taken seconds apart. The first shows I have an active selection on the current layer but copy/paste is grayed out. After switching to any other app then immediately back again, Copy/Paste is no longer grayed out. I am not selecting a not visible layer or an empty layer. Fortunately I can work around it, but it's still a mystery as to why PhotoShop is behaving this way. ... View more

Yes, manually entering the value, instead of using the slider, eliminates the problem. It's not too painful a workaround, but Adobe should have fixed this months ago. They need to get their priorities straight, and focus on their professional users, not their amateur consumer users. They're spending far too much time pushing out silly neural filters, and not enough time resolving problems their professional users encounter. Lumigraphics, your solution to "Just let each computer manage its own cache files." won't work for my company either. We have over 60,000 images, and the resulting cache files (even with Keep 100% Previews In Cache turned off) are over 11GB. It also took over 10 days to cache the entire image server (I could only run it during the day, not overnight). I've offered to copy my cache files to other computers, because any other solution isn't practical. If we had 15 computers trying to cache the server, it would most certainly slow it to a crawl if it didn't crash it completely. Jim ... View more

I have the same question, and an observation: why is it so difficult to accomplish this? Even measly Corel PhotoPaint has had a "remove holes from mask" option for years! But after extensive googling, I can't find a solution or an action to accomplish this. Heck, if Corel can implement this, it can't be impossible.
