These do not work. As I have said in the iriginal post, I tried moving files manully - does not work. I tried using the export option, but when the export panel is open in 2023 version, it is empty, nothing to export. But all my tools work fine in 2023 version.

I have Ps 2023 and 2024 Beta installed on Mac OS. I have some simple but commonly used Ps user custom actions like crop settings, batch image processing scrips and action scrips. I have tried manully copying the the required preference files in the Library from one build to the other, doesn't work in 2024 Beta. I have tried using the Edit -> Presets -> Export option from 2023 version and when the pop up window opens to select things, it is empty. How to achieve this please?

I have checked this PC, and I definitely only have Acrobat Pro installed. There is no Reader at all. I am using the full Creative Cloud setup since I usually work with Photoshop, Illustrator and Dreamweaver. I also use the same login credentials on a Mac as well as this Windows 11 PC, same account. One license can be used twice.

Hi gary_sc I don't think it works like that, but could be wrong. I think both Acrobat Reader and Acrobat DC are the same package, the same installation. It's just that being logged into a legitimate account opens up the editing features of DC. I work for a software company and we do this same thing, so our software works as a viewer only without a license, but goes full blown when logged in, but the installation for both instances is identical. But I could be wrong of course about Acrobat.

I will try that on Monday when I am back at my work PC which is Windows. At home, I'm Mac. I use the same license on both machines.

My Acrobat keeps opening as reader. I am logged in and all my other Adobe applications are working as expected.

I have been using Creative Cloud for quite some time now on my Mac, mostly Illustrator, Photoshop and Dreamweaver and in all applications I have settled on displaying all the information windows and panels that I use most often in each application. I have got used to where things are on the screen etc. . I am now starting to also use my license on a Windows machine and regularly switch between the two. Is there any way I can 'pull' the screen layout for each or all apps from my Mac onto my Windows machine?

Sorry, I'm not enough of an expert to understand what you're talking about. I have access to two ftp locations on the same domain for two different reasons but not the domain site root, so I have them both setup in my sites panel, but DW won't let them both be a remote server. One of them has to be a testing server. I'm not testing anything with it, just using it as a ftp connection, but removing this from the servers area of the sites panel against my connection improves the situation many times over.

I think I have found the issue... The problem disapears when I only have one server associated to the site. It happens when I have 2 servers linked - remote and testing. If I only have remote, then it's Ok.

I checked out syncing, and it's not enabled. I was getting confused in a different comment between syncing and automatic upload on save. I have this enabled. I think it's better (but still not great) if I delete the testing server from my site configuration and just work with the remote server only.

Also, it's a 3.5 GHz 6-Core Mac Pro with 16GB RAM, so this is a pretty decent machine.

macOS Big Sur 11.4 DW 21.1 I also suspect it is something to do with syncing. I like this feature and I don't want to turn it off, but I'll give it a go and see what happens.

Other apps are just boring things like Apple Mail, Safari etc. There is no problem when I am using those apps, only when using Dreamweaver and it is the in-focus app, and it happens even when Dreamweaver is the only app running on the machine. It almost seems like Dreamweaver is so busy doing 'something' in the background that it is grinding the general UI to a halt. I also use Photoshop and Illustrator quite often, and there are no problems with these apps.

I have a Mac Pro and fully up-to-date Dreamweaver with a Majic Mouse 1. My mouse works just fine at all times on all applications until Dreamweaver is running. As soon as Dreamweaver is running and I am focussed on the Dreamweaver application, it almost grinds to a a complete halt. It freezes, stops moving, jumps randomly and is generaly almost wholly unusable. I've tried a different non-Apple mouse and get the same result.
