Bonjour, Nice, Rene 🙂 But I see some are upside down on the paths after applying script. So first all paths should be made in one direction. The other thing it would be OK to do them at once. All of them, but for sure there would be conflicts (when one text frame comes through two paths and so on). So these conflicts I could do manually afterwards. Hello group, I will write what what I would like to get. I have what is on picture A, and I would like to get what is on picture B. Kind of script, idea or anything what could help. And I want pay. Some more details - I have more such text frames in my document and I would like to move them onto paths. It is a map and I don't want horizonal text - topo names, I would like to move them on paths, prepared before. It could be for example kind od "drag and drop" idea. I grab them and drop onto paths. Or perhaps somebody has got any better ideas. Semi - automation is OK. I attach illustrations. If there is ai sample file needed, I will prepare that. Thank you for any help.

OK, illustration is always the best. I just want to change all texts to curves in all these files. I don't want to save them as I plan to process with them further.

OK, so I will give some more info. Usually I insert as little information as possible to not make mess in question and thinking process. The best will be file. It is a map (well, one of many), and you see different text elements. Some connected with waters (blue), some with settlements (black) and so on. I want select only blue (water elements). These are Century fonts. And I doubt it is a text frame, because they are text on paths (?) Thanks,

Dear people, Perhaps you know how should look like the script changing thae names of all layers to random ones? When I export a GeoPDF the software wants from me the names of the layers should be different from each other. For now I have someting like "Layer 1, Layer 1, Layer 1..." It can be even such names as "hjbjhgdsdklahf". Completely different characters, but random. Just every layer needs to have different name from the others. When it is not so many of them, I can change them manually, but when there is more layers... Thank you for your thoughts,

Very interesting approach, Kurt. You divide a curve to the segments, and later make stations from selected parts. But I have two questions: A. Can I make the shorter segments to scale up the size of the stations ? B. In my geographical programs, when I have two layers with vector objects, I can "transfer selection" from one layer to the second, to the objects which lay under. And can I make such "transfer of selection" also in AI ? Then I could automate it more -> I make dots bigger an bigger to be tangent to the line or even crossing the line. Then I select the "dots layer" and transfer the selection to the parts, which are under. And voila!

Jacob, but it is like this which I get on input. It is not perfect. What I can do with it more ? Union them into one path and get rid of service paths. Redrawing it's a manual work. I will prepare you one bezier curve. It is not a problem.
