I am trying to crop a JPG file. I opened the file, added a few layers, worked on it for a while and when I try to crop, the attached happens. Before cropping, Ichange dthe transparency view to dark. This does not happen if the transparency is set to light. I saved the file as a PSD, but it was not saved when this happened.

I frequently have to convert layers to smart objects, and sometimes I'd like to convert many layers at once into separate smart objects. If I select all of these layers and convert to smart objects, I end up with a single smart object layer. I'd like the option to convert them into separate objects, rather than what I do now: do each layer one at a time. It's tedious and wastes time.

I don't know. I don't normally use the standard version, but I launched it just now. It's PS 2025. I can't access the menus. It's odd. When I click on any of them, I get a thin white bar. See screenshot. By the way, I tried opening the PDF again in Beta, and it worked.

No files were open. I worked on other files yesterday but I had since closed them, but not PS. I did this today: 1. File -- > Open 2. Browse to where the file was and clicked it 3. PS crashed after a while I'm on Windows 10.

I tried to use neural filters to stylize a layer using Style Transfer. The layer was an image on transparent background. I wanted to use my own image as reference, so I selected Custom, loaded my image, selected destination as current layer and pressed OK. The only thing that happened is that the image was selected with the ants outline, the neural filters pop-up disappeared and I could not bring it back. I tried to choose it again from the Filters menu but it never came up. I had to close PS and restart.

I was working with PS and Illustrator last night. I had three open files in Photoshop, all saved. I left the application running and the computer on all night. This morning PS had closed and none of my files were in "Recent". The files are OK. I don't have more details. I didn't get any error.

I have a project where I created several different guide layouts. I found out that I can export them from the Guides Template option, but I can't find any option anywhere to import them to another project. I find this extremely frustrating. The PPro help doesn't even have a section on Guides and I don't want to have to recreate 10 different templates that I need. Thanks.

After so many years of so many people requesting this, I still don't get it. Why isn't there an option in the preferences to zoom with the scroll wheel without having to press ALT? Photoshop does this just fine and it's annoying to have to use the two applications together all the time yet have to remember that one needs a keypress and the other one doesn't.

Thanks, and you are correct. But I am installing Photoshop and Acrobat, both of which run on 32 bit systems. My old laptop also had Win7 32 bit and they ran without issue. Regardless, the installer should not crash. Juan Carlos

I just received a new 32-bit Windows 7 laptop. I downloaded and installed the CC updater and I am now trying to install Photoshop and Acrobat. With either one, the CC app begins to download the software and crashes at about 30%. Windows gives me a window saying the app crashed and that it is restarting. Then the window disappears and the application doesn't restart. What can I try to solve this? Thanks, Juan Carlos

I installed Acrobat XI Pro as part of my Creative Cloud subscription. A few days ago Acrobat told me I ran out of of trial days and that I needed to add a serial number to continue using it. I do not have a serial number for Acrobat; just a CC license. All other CC apps are working well. When I look at the Creative Cloud application, it tells me that Acrobat Xi Pro is installed and up to date. I need to fix this urgently so I can launch Acrobat again. How do I solve the problem?
