I restored the original folder structure to a new location (the old computer to the laptop by way of the NAS) so all the images are on the laptop but it isn't looking at the images there, it is looking back at the NAS to get those images still. I am currently importing the local images in to the catalog. Hopefully, the catalog will add the album info. Then I plan on removing the NAS images from the laptop catalog. I assume I need to go folder by folder to do so. When I was setting up photoshop on the laptop, it was alway connected to the NAS so it worked, albeit a tad slowly. When I took the laptop on the road, weirdly enough, all my data was now offline. So no, I wasn't trying to use a mobile app, I was just taking the laptop away from the mother ship. After I saw my original catalog was not functional on the laptop, I started a new catalog so I could work with my new images. I understand there is no way to merge the catalogs. That's ok if I am incorrect as the old catalog was getting pretty unwieldy, even my old high powered computer working with local files.

I backed up Photoshop Elements 21 (?) images and catalog to local NAS from a desktop windows 10 computer. Installed Photoshop Elements 21 (?) then copied the backup.tly to a laptop windows 10 and restored to the laptop. All worked great, copying all the images and folders to the laptop and preserving all my albums. Until going mobile, then all the photos show as disconnected. Apparently, despite the fact that the restore copied all the files to the laptop, it is still loading the images from the NAS (confirmed by looking at the properties within PSE). How do I get the catalog to connect to the local images? I have used earlier versions of photoshop elements. Everything on the laptop indicates it is photoshop elements 21 but querying the program indicates is is 19.0.0.0. Core and language version 19.0 (20210807.m.158016) Is this 21 or 19?

Is it possible to copy the custom text styles to a new computer? Premiere Elements 13 on Windows 11 And yes, that was hard to do. I am using 13 because it can burn bluray discs.

I tried deleting and reinstalling the mouse drivers - no change. The mouse works on the old copy of PSE13. The window was staying full size, whether in full screen or window mode and if I tried to move the window, it would pop to a smaller window then pop back into full size again if I clicked the mouse, until I managed to resize a side without clicking anywhere else, and wahlah - all works now. If I keep the window smaller than full size, everything works. If I switch to full screen mode, it doesn't work. So it's a monitor or video card/driver issue I guess. Using a Dell U3818DW.

Mouse working weirdly in PSE 21 Organizer but is fine for PSE 21 Editor. No change in action using different mouse or trackball. Right click doesn't work, left click on menu items doesn't work, left click on full screen toggle causes window to bounce around. This happened once before but resolved updating trackball and PSE. Same process not helping now so installed fresh download of PSE 21 then PSE 22 but no change in mouse issue. I have an old version of PSE 13 hanging around. Yes, but I need to burn blurays so I can't use my PE 21. It would be nice if Adobe continued support for bluray burning in PE then I wouldn't need to be so concerned about gopro's inconsistent output (and their fix). Not looking for a fix for PE 13.

FYI I use PE13 on a Win10 box with the HEVC codec installed. Of course, any HEVC video will come into PE13 as audio only (can be converted in Handbrake). I bought PE21 but I need to make blurays so I reverted to PE13. I have used a gopro 8 with the video compression set to H.264 + HEVC successfully in PE13. The gopro 8 will output H.264 on 1080 30, 1080 60, 2.7K 60, 4K 30 and 4K 60. I just bought a gopro 10 and set the compression to H.264 + HEVC and found that this gopro version will still only output HEVC only when set to 1080 24 and 1080 30 and 4K 60 but will output H.264 when set to 1080 60 and 4K 30. There is no warning that this will happen even when the video compression setting is H.264 + HEVC. I contacted gopro to inform them of this deficiency but I won't be holding my breath for their fix.

I would like to have a dvd menu without the poster frames (no photo or video) but just the scene titles. I created some custom menus years ago for PRE 8 that would do that but I'm lost now. The custom menus I made won't work on my new computer (Win 7) either in PRE 13 or PRE 8. I don't need the old menu if something current is available that could do the same thing - simple menu that I can add a title, background images, audio loops, several titles with buttons per page but no poster frames. Any thoughts?
