@jane-e , removing the script file disables the Acrobat PDFMaker from the toolbar in the MS Office application (Powerpoint, Excel, Word, etc).
The problem is that the file is installed with permissions only for "root" and needs to have the permissions opened up for lwer level user access. I haven't yet found the "right" way to do this, but I believe it's a bug in the installation scripts. This first started happening to me with Sequioa 15.0 and is still a problem in 15.3 with a fresh Acrobat installation.
Here's a snapshot from Terminal showing the issue:
Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a "bugs" section here in the Community for Acrobat.

Lightroom will take as much memory as it can when running. I saw this behavior and it was crashing my system regularly, but only when I fired off a bunch of memory hungry tasks.
For me, it turned out that one of my RAM sticks wasn't fully seated and it was triggering a memory error - but not until higher memory addresses started getting used (in my case, >24Gb). As long as the actually memory access didn't go up that high, the system was stable.
In my case, I was able to run a memory diagnostic and see a failure was up in memory, so I was sure it wasn't LR. I found the RAM stick not quite fully seated.

I'm not sure exactly - you do have filters showing but nothing seems to be active. I do notice in the filter box at the top, it says "Search 2 albums." This tells me that you have more than one album selected on the left hand side. Can you try choosing a different one, then coming back to the Evan album only (next to the magnifying glass icon in the search box, it should say "Search Evan Michael").

@sayrahm This still works in 3.06 just as I documented above in 2021. The important part is you must do this in the "Your Files" view, and not in the "Home" view, from the main screen. Once you are in the files view, long press a file to "lift it," then navigate to another folder with your other hand (this is a two handed process). @Pedro_Antonio this answers your question also, as your screen shot clearly shows you are in the "Home" view and not the "Your Files" view.

Lightroom may not be aligned with the new location of your folders. Can you right click one of the folders and choose "Find missing folder"? (Not sure how that would be presented in your language).
Ideally, all your folders would be under one top level folder, and when you find that one, all the subfolders will be located as well. If you have all top level folders in your list, you may need to repeat the process for each one. To avoid this in the future, select one of your folders, right click and "Add parent folder."

Since 13.3, I've had 1 item stuck syncing, but the latest 13.5 seemed to fix that.
It's hard for me to see the details in your screen recording as it seems to have gotten compressed quite badly. However, I would suggest signing out and signing back in to your Adobe account, then try syncing again. As a troubleshooting step, I will often create a collection with 1 photo and try to sync that, to see if things are working properly, before attempting a larger album/collection.

I am on Lightroom Classic 13.4 on a Macbook Pro and there have been a few times where I am editing photos in Lightroom and my photo will all of a sudden glitch and all these pixels are filled with colors. I go to Library and the picture looks normal again but still messed up in Develop mode. The only fix I have seem to have found is restarting my computer, then all is good again. Is there a fix to this and also an explanation?

I am wondering why Adobe support didn't know of this.
By @athletic_fun5EA4
Most likely because that tool is not called the transform tool. It is called the Guided Upright tool, and it is in both the cloud based and Classic versions. It's easy to confuse because in LrC, the Guided Upright tool is found in the Transform Panel, while in the cloud version it is the Geometry panel.

I thought I'd share my experience here as well, being a long-time Lr on iOS user.
iPad:
I have 3 iPads: (1) a 2018 iPad Pro 11" 3rd gen A12X, (2) a 2023 iPad Pro 12.9" 6th gen M2, and (3) a 2024 iPad Pro 11" 7th gen M4. On all three iPads, if I am editing and scrolling through a lot of photos, the iPad gets hot in the area (presumably) where the GPU is. Sometimes it gets quite hot. It never gets hot enough to cause the screen to dim on any of my iPads, and the heat fades quickly when I stop flipping through photos or doing heavy edits. For example, last night after our local fireworks display on the 4th of July, I imported more than 250 full size CR3 raw files onto my iPad 7th gen M4, scrolled through them marking my picks, went back and edited the picks and exported some back to the camera roll. A little heat during the import process, and not much after that.
iPhone:
I'm currently using the iPhone 14 Pro, but have had nearly every iPhone and have used Lr extensively on my phone since it was available. I've noticed the same heating up, especially near the cameras, occasionally quite hot. This happens a lot when shooting HDR with Lr Camera and then waiting for the processing to occur. Again, while my phone has gotten quite hot, I've never had the screen dim as a result of Lr running hot. And the heat fades quickly once the processing is done.
I will add that I also live in Florida as noted by one responder above, and when I'm out in the sun with my iPhone, I have the dimming issue caused by the heat of the sun. This happens not with Lr, but with any app, even when I'm not using any apps and just looking at the Home Screen. This happens to me sometimes even if the phone is in my pocket, when I'm sitting in the direct sunlight. This is of course not related to Lr but shows how the iPhone can be sensitive to heat.

correct, the top center option (#2 in my list above) tells LR how it is to handle the images during import.
"Importing" refers to adding the image location and metadata to the catalog. "Organization" of the files on disk is different from importing and can be accomplished by "copy" "add" or "move."

It's a 3 step process:
choose the folder on the left (as you've done)
choose ADD at the top (tells LRC how to handle the images)
click Import (as you've highlighted in the lower right.).
I would also deselect the "Don't import suspected duplicates" and don't worry about the "Add to collection " option.

Importing by choosing "ADD" as Johan mentions above does not create a copy. Obviously that's not a good option for SD cards; in that case you want to choose the "COPY" or "COPY as DNG" option. But for permanently attached drives, ADD is what you want when the files are already organized the way you want them.

Your Documents folder was changed to a new location when you set up OneDrive, but it was not changed back. LR always creates the file you saw, and it places it in your Documents folder. You can change this back to the usual default location by the following steps:
Right click Documents in an Explorer Window
Choose "Properties"
Choose the "Location" tab
Enter a folder name or "Find Target..." - the default location is C:\Users\username\Documents. See my configuration as shown below in the screen shot (note that I *am* using OneDrive so the path is different from the default):

Many of us (myself included) are experiencing this anomaly. See this thread:
LrC 13.3 sync Seems Stuck - 13 photos syncing - li... - Adobe Community - 14634960
I will merge this thread into that one to keep the conversations in one place.
Just to add my experience: LR Spent several hours dancing between "Syncing 11 photos" "Syncing 26 photos" and "Syncing 1 photo." Eventually after a few hours it stopped its dance, and now has just landed on "Syncing 1 photo" for about the past 5-6 hours. I am not seeing any of the previously mentioned "Sync Errors" or anything else like that in the Catalog panel:

It seems from your screen shots in the message below that you are trying to use the Adobe CC Desktop app to launch Lightroom Classic. This only works if you're connected. Instead, you need to launch Lightroom Classic directly. Just find the application and double click it to launch. For easier use in the future, pin the application to your dock.

I've been using CR3 files for several years in Lightroom on my iPhone and iPad. The number of cameras supported is always growing. three key questions you need to answer to receive any help:
What camera model do you have?
What device are you trying to use?
What version of Lightroom is installed?
Cameras supported by Lightroom and Camera Raw, along with the Lightroom version in which the cameras were first added:

An update: I tried cancel again, and this time I was in fact able to cancel. After churning for a few minutes, it showed me that 4 other apps (which had been "waiting") all got updated during the seemingly stalled time. So apparently while the UI looked like it was stuck on the PS install, it was actually somehow installing the other apps' updates (Indesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, etc).
I restarted the PS update and it has now breezed through and completed in a more normal amount of time.
Very strange indeed!

Anyone else having trouble with the update on an Intel Mac? I have a Macbook Pro 13", 2020, running Sonoma 14.3.1. PS 25.5 is installed and working. The Creative Cloud app is trying to install the upgrade to (I presume) 25.1.1. It got stuck at 1%, and I tried to cancel but nothing happened, it was stuck in the install process. So I completely rebooted my system. Now it's progressed to 41% but has been stuck there for over an hour. I can still open PS 25.5, and I can navigate the UI of the CC Desktop app, but again the installation seems to be stuck.
Ideas?
Thanks in advance.

You are witnessing Lightroom applying its default settings to the photos on import. This is easily controlled. In Lr, hit the 3 dots menu at the top, then choose App Settings > Import > Raw Default Settings, and change from "Adobe Default" to "Camera Default."
For me, I don't care about this, as I'm going to develop the photos MY way regardless. I don't want the camera's idea of how my photo should look, I want to have my own control. But, that's my opinion and workflow.

If you delete from an album, you'll have the option to "remove from the album" (photo stays in "All Photos") or "Delete." If you choose Delete, the photo is completely removed, but is still available in the "Deleted" album for 60 days. I think (but I'm not sure, maybe someone can confirm) that the Deleted album doesn't count towards your quota.
