That does not work. The snapshot window stays on top permanently

Yes. First time you save a Snapshot it's 'wrong' but once you update a snapshot with new settings it behaves itself every time. No other presets have this bug

further point. If I start with an untouched RAW file. Store a Snapshot of it unedited, then change to Adaptive Color profile, do not edit at all but just store another Snapshot. If I the toggle back to the original Snapshot and then back again to the Adaptive one, the Adaptive one looks different from what it was when I stored it

Hi. Interesting update. The adaptive profile for landscape photography tends to be rather aggressive. Also if I do as reccommended as use Adaptive Color profile from an unedited shot, then edit to my satisfaction, then save a 'Snapshot' in Develop mode, if I go back to that Snapshot later is COMPLETELY different - otfen a whole stop too dark. Happens repeatly

Mine remain on top what ever I do. It's a real pain if I'm creating several snapshots. Hopefully it'll be fixed soon....

I have the exact same problem. LR 14.1.1 Macos 15.2 just like you I end up with several little blank snapshot windows /dialogs open. Only way to get rid of them is restarting Lightroom, otherwise they are permanently on top of the main Lightroom window. This is a new problem.

In Lightroom Classic (v 11.1) there is a bug if the mouse / pointer size has been changed in System Preferences > Accessibility. The brush size when using masks shows correctly when the pointer is over the right hand side panel. When using the brush over the image part of the window it shows much larger (depending on the accessibility setting) but it's effect on the mask is that of the smaller size. If the mask overlay is not turned on, it is not apparent what is happening - it looks like the brush is simply not working.
I used the accessibility setting as I use a very large, high-res screen and the pointer is so tiny it hard to see otherwise. I'm using a 2021 Macbook Pro M1-Max, 32GB, MacOs 12.1. The problem is persistent. The problem appears if I use and screen, including only the inbuilt screen.

Interestingly, if I disconnect the BenQ (rather than have LR running on the MacBook's own screen rather than the BenQ), the problem does disappear.

I'm using a Macbook Pro 2021, M1Max, 32GB etc. macOS Monterey 12.0.1 Since the latest LR Classic update, when I'm using LR in Fullscreen mode the 'Eye' icons for each mask in the masks panel do not appear and are not clickable. This happens both on my MacBook's screen and when using an external monitor (BenQ 321 SWC) They reappear if I switch out of full screen mode but disappear again when back in fullscreen. Restarting Macbook has no effect. No other software running. Nothing else unusual installed or connected. This was not happening a few days ago.

Since the latest update, if I copy/paste LR develop module settings from one photo to another, the White Balance (Temp & Tint) aren't copied correctly. Same happens if a developone photo, select another then click the "Previous' button. The pasted settings may say 'Daylight' as the WB setting but it won't be 5000k/+10 but a different number set. To fix it I have to choose 'Cloudy' and then choose 'Daylight' again - a real pain! It would be nicve if this was fixed asap
