Question

Newbe Old guy needs help with CS3

I purchased the Adobe Premiere Pro suite several years ago to do videos for a Cancer Childrens program that I started.  "Kids Racing For Life", then I got stage 4 cancer and never used the program much except the first year. Now I don't remember squat.  I would like to get started again but it's been 6-7 years.  Is there a free learning tutoral somewhere?  I would like to at least do some of the basic stuff, I have a good video camera and can take the videos, but doing it my myself, I will need to edit the start and ending of each video, along with intro and exit titles, (I actually remember how to do those I think), what I need help with is the import of the video, and the use of the tools and a glossry of the terms that I can't remember.  If anyone could help you would make an old guy happy. Thank you. RaceRev

What camera do you have?

CS3 may not be able to handle files from some of the newer cameras.

Thank you for responding, I think it does. It's a Canon XA40 video camera.

Unfortunately CS3 does not support avchd let alone 4K.

As far as I remember it only d supports dv and hdv cameras.
