The upgrade popup is ANNOYING; my last straw

This is a gripe about too many bugs not a question.

I am fed up with the bugs in Premiere.
It is so bugged that I have to quit and resart over 3 times an hour due to screen panes going to white when I resize, or change the workspace or even open a project.  I typically quit and restart for every project start or reopening. It's terrible software.  In the last six months I've been on the phone with support dozens of times for hours. Theyare very nice and seem to get things fixed but the problems return.

Today was my last straw. The popup window at the start of Lightroom, Photoshop, and Premiere has pissed me off.
The box, "Expand your toolkit with Creative Cloud All Apps" that has a box for "Do not show again" is BS. It always pops up. And as a twist of the knife in the back if I go to "Upgrade now" it says "Error: Plan unavailable".  Even the popup is buggy. I have downloaded two other video editors and will spend all day tomorrow studying them and going through tutorials. I think I closed that stupid pop up window 50 times today. Because I have to restart Premiere several times an hour due to it's bugs.  My plan is to not take on new projects and spend two weeks retraining.

Wow, that would have been a pain.

I've been an all-apps user for over a decade, and I've never had pop-ups like that. Nor the crashing problems you're having also. And with several million daily users, not many are having the problems you've been stuck with.

Typically, standard troubleshooting involves getting data to figure things out. So ... giving us full details of the hardware, media, effects and all would help us try to sort out why you are getting such nasty experiences.

I'm with you on most of this. I'm getting so fed up with Adobe. I've had various issues like that. I've been a consistent user for 15 years and I'm starting to get fed up with the little tweaks that happen every time there's an update, and being forced to update. For example the the way the bounding box expands or other little annoying things that make me think someone coming from PowerPoint has complained and wanted it to work like a Microsoft program and  Adobe just decided to change it for them. I know I'm late to this post. In fact I've never posted before but I've had an annoying " time to update" box on my screen for like three days, and as well as all the little pop-ups that I consistently say I don't want (every time I open any piece of software from Adobe software) is doing my head in. I had the same issue with the time to update box about a month ago, and after waiting on the phone for 20 minutes and finally getting through to try and sort this issue out. The guy just hung up on me I can't help but think that it's something they don't want to get rid of.

@Fancy_Wish4117

Are you referring to the "Discover new time saving features" banner that appears across the bottom of the Home screen in Premiere Pro?

I'm sorry that you are finding it frustrating to see that.  Are you seeing the "x" at the right side to dismiss it?  It should go away after that.  You can also ignore it and continue using Premiere Pro, but it will still be displayed on the Home screen if not dismissed.

As far as updating goes, yes, Creative Cloud Desktop defaults to our apps set to update automatically, but we can disabled that.  I like to leave auto-update enabled, but keep "Remove old versions" disabled in the advanced options.  This allows for checking out the new features while continuing to work in the release that I might be more familiar with.  Of course, if you prefer, you can disable update automatically.

We can remain on a prior major release for quite a while; however, we want to be clear about the Adobe software support guidelines.

@S.Lundin didn't return to the post with information. I hope that they solved their issue.

Thanks,
Kevin
