As i build my portfolio of clients, I'm finding that I need to improve my organizational skills. This is especially true when it comes to keeping track of client colors, fonts, logo variations and the likes. Is there a Mac program or app that does this? If not, what's the best way to keep track of this information so that it's easily accessible? Thanks!
Adobe has made some seemilngly important connection between their lame stock library and all the aspects of the applications i use in my professional work. I hate being barraged by some useless aspect of thier collection just so Adobe can HOPE to make another dollar off of me. which by the way I have been purchasing their upgrades and apps since 1986. YES 1986 so that means i have paid thom over 20 tousand sdollars or more in my career. leave me alone with the stupis stock crap.Adobe apps are TOOLS like a rake or a hoe. Stop putting a big clown hat on top of them wth this annoying STOCK PHOTO connection!!! its embarassing.
I have, on occasion, run into folks who say that certain fonts are "inappropriate" for certain uses and that somebody's use of typography is "wrong" - but they rarely offer any advice.I admit to seeing this when reading comments on commercial website templates, and not in respect to my own work, but it really makes me wonder what they are talking about! I always just go with what looks good and is easily readable (i.e. - no fancy script fonts with lots of ornamental bits for headlines and logos) but even things which seem fine to me get these criticisms.I'd love to find a tutorial explaining what characteristics to look for in a font for the intended use, and exactly what is meant by "bad typography" in a layout. If you've read some of my previous posts, you probably know I'd prefer a free tutorial, but am open to a commercial one if it is in depth and comprehensive.Ironically, I had a hard time finding any in my searches. So any advice would be appreciated.
HiDoes anyone know how they created the background lines in the Engineered Speed banner just above the footer on the Nike website ?Thanks in advance !

Hi I am missing my white boxes on my frame to scale a text or picture. Normally i just hold down shift and use my mouse in one corner of the frame. But I think i have puches something so the small white boxes are now blus and not for use. Anyone?
We had back to back trade fairs/expos/conferences recently in Koeln (Cologne), Germany. And Adobe took part!Dmexco is the Digital Marketing Expo Conference that takes place yearly and Adobe was there in full force! The design of the booth was brilliant and was sitting right next to Google's! You could make appointments and sit with a professional to learn more about the Marketing Cloud (which I did). As that is something I am really interested in learning more about. The following week Adobe took part at Photokina (which happens ever other year). They had a big stage where they had people speaking like Rufus Deuchler, Dom Quichotte and Sven Doelle. On the day I attended we had a press event and afterwards Adobe sponsored a nice event at Rheinloft! Even some of the Adode Influencers took part such as Marianne Deiters!Since I started a new job I was only able to attend one day of Photokina, but it was well worth it! It was great seeing Adobe back

I am trying to create a positive/negative space design in a very simple Object over Text manner. I want to see the text come through the color object when I check exclude but when I do the whole design turns purple! What am I missing?
This forum is a great idea. It's helped many; myself included. There has to be more, much more participation for it to flourish. Moderating is fine and rightly so; to be able to place the questions where they stand the most chance of being answered properly. But after awhile, even questions that have no business being bounced inevitably get caught in the net or worst the poster is belittled publicly for not reading the rules and their post disappears to heaven knows where. There left to wonder and perhaps angered. No one wants to feel that way. It may dissuade one from considering posting ever again out of embarrassment if nothing else.My suggestion is simply. A few smallish software Icons strewn across the top near the banner with a "for ? about Illustrator post here" likewise for Photoshop and so on. Can't hurt, and would be one more re-director.But even with that, I suppose folks will still post and be bounced and moderators will still be needed. Thanks 4 reading.

Hey all ^^I'm getting a little frustrated, My problem is that I want a background behind my drawing, so for example, what I do is:I choose a background, and on that background I'll start to draw, but as soon as I stars colouring the colours get all transparant and multiply makes the pic awefull..Please someone help me, it's so annoying!
Hi all.My place of work was robbed over the weekend. We have security camera footage and I offered to try and clean up what's there, go through it frame by frame in areas of interest, and get the best stills available of the crook. We actually think we know who it was (a disgruntled former employee, fired for stealing) but a good image would be needed either way.Looking at the playback, the color is washed out due to low light and it's a little choppy, but it doesn't look too blurry. It is motion activated, thus the choppyness - I think...I planned on using a few of the programs in the Adobe suite (I have the CS6 Master Collection). My initial idea was to use After Effects to scrub frame by frame and pull some good ones, then go to Photoshop and enlarge/enhance as much as I can to attempt a clear shot of a face. The footage is still on the DVR box and nobody knows how to retrieve it just yet (boss wont let me try - he's afraid to mess with the software and
You really do need to TRY something to make sure it works, BEFORE you start beta testing for profit - theoretically, that's part of R&D - gets listed as an expense/cost of business - as opposed to profits.
Hi there! My name is Yosef Anan, and I work in a company, my director asked me how much time you took in work? He asks me to determines the work's Cost per hour! Sometimes it takes me to work on a project for several days with other projects so I can't know exactly how much time it took. Is there any prosess that help me to know the exact time I took during working on adobe softwares? (In Active work status, not in opening window of app and not working on). Can you take my case in mind so in future adobe software have this feature in the new version of adobe software?
I also do photo restoration mainly as a hobby. Would love to see some of your work and maybe share techniques and resources. Here are a couple recent ones of mine. I should add that the actual hi-res finished images are better quality than what is shown.
Ever Since I've been a customer of Adobe Products (and that's been many versions ago till now) I've marveled at the beautiful talented artwork on the "About Product (whichever) Shield" You know the one that had all the serial numbers on it and such.I'd even go looking for all the "Easter Eggs" that tired and bored programmers would stick in each program. Through a combination of Keystrokes and F keys, you'd get a short video or gif or even a picture of something wacky. Come on, I'm sure you all remember that don't you.But it was the product "About Shields" that I really liked. I guess it had to do with the passage of time and the history of the Product. So what happened...no more artwork! Don't tell me Adobe fired all the artist? Whose bird-brain idea was it to do away with one of Adobes mainstays. That was tradition that was, that was...I mean, you know. All I gotta say is BRING 'EM BACK PLEASE! this ain't right. It just ain't.
