I have completed steps 1 & 2 and after verifying email address next page on my computer is frozen.  I cannot click on any link that will work all I get are dings from the computer.  If I go back to first installation page it just says 2 of 3 completed.  What do I do?

    Hello James!

I hope you are doing well, and thanks for reaching out.

Adobe no longer supports Windows XP, and the latest versions of Acrobat Reader are not compatible with that operating system. See this article for more details: https://adobe.ly/4mh1dBy

If you still wish to install the older version, you may try to download it from here: https://adobe.ly/4jLtVbS

    Select the available operating system.

    Important Notes:

    • Security Risk: Since older versions of Reader are outdated and unsupported, it may expose your system to security vulnerabilities.

    • No Updates or Support: Adobe has officially ended support for older versions of Reader, meaning no bug fixes or security patches.

    • Limited Features: It may not render newer PDFs correctly or support features like cloud storage, modern encryption, etc.

For security and functionality, it’s highly recommended to consider upgrading to a newer version of the Adobe app and the operating system if possible.

    I hope this information helps.

    Thanks,

    Anand Sri.
