When I attmpt to print a PDF document it only prints first page,   when all pages are selected.  I tried to ust the print certain pages, and it only prints the first page listed.  If i want to print the whole document, i have to select each page individually.  t

This is happening no matter how i try to print it or where from.  I have tried redownloading the document, but that does not help.

Hi @rerelucas ,

Thanks for the detailed report — that context is really helpful for narrowing this down.

Since you've already ruled out security restrictions and reinstalled the printer drivers, let's try a few targeted steps:

1. Try "Print as Image." In Acrobat's print dialog, click Advanced and check "Print As Image." This bypasses Acrobat's normal rendering pipeline and often resolves cases where only the first page is rendered, especially with plain-text documents that shouldn't be causing any issues.

2. Isolate the duplex setting. Since you have duplex (double-sided) enabled, try a test print with duplex turned off and see if all 4 pages print. Some printer drivers have a conflict where duplex mode causes the job to stop after the first sheet. If that works, the issue is specific to the duplex handling between Acrobat and your printer driver, and we can dig into that further.

3. Check the print spooler. On Windows 11, open Services, find Print Spooler, restart it, then attempt the print again. Stalled spooler jobs from previous prints can sometimes interfere with multi-page jobs in unexpected ways.

4. Flatten the PDF before printing. Go to File > Print, then in the printer dropdown select "Adobe PDF" to save a fresh copy, and try printing that new file. This can resolve issues caused by invisible form fields or layers in the original document — even in what appears to be a plain-text file.

5. Test with another PDF. If you haven't already, try printing a different multi-page PDF to confirm whether this is file-specific or affects all documents. You can use any sample PDF from Adobe's website for this.

Environment note: Since you're on Windows 11 Enterprise, it's also worth checking whether any Group Policy settings are restricting print job sizes or duplex output — your IT admin can confirm that quickly.

Lastly, you can just open the PDF in a browser and print.

Let us know what you find with the above steps, and please share the results of the duplex test in particular — that'll help us point you in the right direction.

What's the exact version number of the application (You can find it out by going to Help - About Adobe Reader)? What's your OS version?

I'm having the same issue.  I thought it might be printer settings but I discovered when I open the same .pdf in Firefox, it prints all pages just fine.  Adobe Acrobat Reader however seems to only print page 1 of multi-page pdf files.

Machine:  MacBook Air M4 (2025)
OSX:  Sequoia 15.5
Adobe Acrobat Reader: 2025.001.20577

Troubleshooting steps taken:
1.  Uninstalled, reinstalled printer and drivers.
2.  Unintstalled, reinstalled Adobe Acrobat Reader.
3. TRIPLE checked print dialogue box to ensure I'm commanding the printing of the full document.

Hi @Dynamic_Dusk1183

Thank you for reaching out. We aren't aware of any such issue at our end.

You may want to check if you have the right to print the file. To do so, open the file in Acrobat, hold Ctrl + D, and select document properties > Security. If the printing is allowed.
You may try another file and check if the issue is reproducible.

Let us know how it works.
