Eraser Tool?

Ok Gang I think I have done something stupid and I can't figure out what I did or how to fix it. This is in Photoshop CC. Previously when using the eraser tool I got a circle showing the size of the area I was erasing. This circle would change size when I increased or decreased the pixels. Some how I have balled this all up. Now when I go into the eraser tool I get on of two things. One I get just a small cross hair that represents the center of the eraser tool. Number two is I get an icon of the the eraser tool itself. Neither one of these are very helpful. I work on cleaning up scans of line art so I need to know where the eraser tool is working.

So what did I muck up and how do I fix it? Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

    Norman,

I tied that and it went from cross hairs to Icon. Anything else?

    Thank you,
