object selection tool colour overlay not showing when moving mouse around image to find selections

Its working now Jeremy. I am not sure what cured it as.

I noticed my monitor was not connected to the NVidia Graphics Card

The shortcut i was using on my desktop was opening photoshop 2022 (i noticed my computer now has photoshop 2023 after an upgrade)

I removed the preferences files as requested

i have tryed your suggestion Kevin and the overlay still does not work.

Part of the issue could be you have two graphics cards installed and one (Intel) does not meet the minimum requirements to run Photoshop effectively. Here is how to resolve. Run this process then try again:

I noticed after I sent the e mail on 2 dec that a driver update was recommended.

I updated the driver and the object finder still does not work.
