My graphics guy used Helvetica Neue font in a large project for me and I am needing to make a few text corrections because he is no longer on the project. I am on a windows platform using Acrobat Pro DC and it doesn't have that font. Is there a way for me to add that font? If not, what would be a comparable font in size and spacing? The text needing editing fits inside a 3" circle, so if I needed a new font I want to replace the old one without having to make any spacing adjustments. Thank you!

I need to shop for and purchase a good simplified Chinese font (Mandarin) for use in documents. Adobe doesn't make this easy. How do I find, purchase and download??

I can't see what each of the fonts look like without trying each one, while using Pagemaker to create a photo/document. I thought that somehow the font samples showed up--what the headline styles would actually look like without going through all of them. Do you know where or how I can see samples of each available font on this program? It would make working up headlines, etc., so much easier. Thanks for any suggestions.Bill Ennis

Hi all,I would consider myself a novice Adobe user and I am having some issues with Illustrator. I currently use a windows desktop for most of my work but I also use a macbook pro. When I went into Adobe Cloud today to open some Illustrator files on my laptop (that I made on my desktop), I was told that the document uses fonts that are not currently available on my computer. I suppose that I (wrongly) assumed that if it was a default font available on one computer it would be available on the other as well. I haven't downloaded any fonts that I know of so I don't think that is the issue. Anyone know why this is happening and whether there is an easy fix? Thanks!

The earlier discussion said contact support if you have the same problem. The only support option I could find directed me to this forum. There is a supplemental file with the .pfm files that Adobe can send. I need to find out how to get it.

Hey there. I had a font package by a gift from a friend. As I open the font pack, All of the PostScript Type 1 font has a blank white icon. It's not working. I installed Adobe Type Manager but it's not compatible with my Windows 7 computer. Does anyone know what another font application that can open and install PostScript Type 1 fonts on my Windows 7? Please Help.

My organization has chosen the Google font "Lato" for all materials - print and web. They appear as Truetype fonts on my PC if I package the file, but some show as OpenType when I look in InDesign's font menu. We had originally used Typekit's Lato in InDesign, but have decided to go back to the Google fonts. However, InDesign acts as if I don't have Lato fonts loaded, displaying [Lato (OTF)] in the menu. Does InDesign accept Google fonts? Are commercial printers using Google fonts? Does one have to have Creative Cloud to buy the Lato font in Typekit?

Hi,I'm graphic designer and CC account holder, but I'm new to using Typekit so need to get my head around a problem I've run into with Apertura (https://typekit.com/fonts/apertura)I have a client that uses this as their "digital" font and I need to create design for them in Photoshop with this font, however it just looks there's on the <> (web icon)  next to it. Sorry in advance if this seems like a silly question - but does this really mean I can only use this font in the code of a website and not while creating the actual *designs* for this website? If anyone could clarify for me, that'd be great. Thanks in advance! K

So I have this font Im using for body ff-tisa-web-pro, Im using the italic version throughout. It seems to be working everywhere except on safari and apple devices. The website is lyndamartinasid.com. Any insight would really be appreciated. I'm stumped.

I installed Helvetica on my computer and it shows up in InDesign but not Illustrator, how can I get it in Illustrator?

I was wondering if anyone can give me some advice on dealing with this issue. I do have a CC account and even when I am logged in, Typekit does not sync. When I click "sign in" I see my account name but it always glitches twice or so, then fails to keep me logged in. However, when I click on "adobe" right next to the signin button, I see my name. Not sure what could be wrong? I've tried turning the syncing button on and off to see if that will help--to no avail. Hi,I am working on my own logo and would like to use the fonts installed within Adobe Illustrator application (open type ,TT,etc) for my logo, can I use these fonts commercially?2. Questions: Do these files have to be in PDF format only? Or is it acceptable to convert text into outlines?3. The old Adobe fonts like Frutiger, Avant Garde, Helvetica Black etc will not work, nor translate through Type Tool. We're talking thousands of dollars here...

Not using Typekit.  I downloaded a font, and placed it into my PC fonts folder.  Only none of those fonts are available in indesign!  what gives?  I dont want to use Typekit be cause I know it doesnt have my font
