Is this related to being able to hide information when a user types in an answer in a text field?

Like, for example, are you looking for a javascript that will hide a text field depending on what is answered in another field? 

Can you give more detail about what you are trying to do?

If you want the option to show or hide information on a PDF, you could create layers in InDesign, export to a layered PDF, then use Acrobat to turn layer visibility on or off.

You can also export to an interactive, layered PDF and use buttons to turn layer visibility on or off.

The interactive PDF would need to be viewed in Acrobat or Reader to correctly view the layers.

墨消し機能による非表示情報の削除に関する件だと思います。

それを消してしまった場合、ファイル内の構造データ自体から消去してしまっていますから、該当データでの確認はもう行うことはできません。

（確認できてしまったら削除したことにならないというお話にもなります）

オリジナルPDFのバックアップがあればそちらで参照になりますし、それもなければ大元のアプリケーション+ファイルからPDF自体を同じように再作成するほかありません。
