CC を利用されているのであれば、Lightroom mobile の導入を検討されてはいかがでしょうか。別料金はかかりませんし便利だと思います。デスクトップで現像した写真を同期すれば、そのままスマホ側の Lightroom mobile に反映されますし、スマホの Lightroom mobile には Instagram 投稿機能があります。

Lightroom を経由するしないに関わらず、スマホからの投稿を前提としているのは Instagram 側の制限ですので、デスクトップから直接投稿するには何らかの裏技を使う必要があると思います。

一応、アドオンやプラグインはあるようですが、私は使ったことが無いのでこの辺りの情報が参考になれば・・・（英語です）
