Subject: Save for Web (Legacy) 8192px — worsening forced downscale

1. Used Slice Tool + Save for Web (Legacy) for years to export detail-page images over 8192px in sections. Worked fine until recently.
2. In the past few weeks, same files/same workflow now get force-downscaled to a fraction of size (~35%).
3. Same pattern already reported repeatedly in Adobe Community (sudden breakage after updates / temporary fix via restart only).
4. Impact: need to batch-export dozens of detail pages per cycle. Current only options are browser-preview workaround or manual per-slice export — not scalable.

Requests

1. Confirm whether a recent update changed how the 8192px limit is enforced.
2. Provide a stable batch-export path for multi-slice files exceeding 8192px.
3. If Save for Web (Legacy) is being deprecated, specify the official replacement for slice-based batch export of large images (Export As does not support slices).
