Acrobat SDK

At work, for each project I submit, I use a pdf form that has the information from the previous two editions of that project, as well as the current. We manually copy each field down each year (CurrentPages gets copied to PrevPages, etc.). I was hoping I could use javascript and a button to make this automatic. Can anybody help? Some of these fields are text fields, some are drop down lists, etc. Each field that needs populated will already need filled and will need cleared and/or overridden.

Good evening, I made a script to print specific pages in a range from my document, except that the page information being printed are all different dimensions on the paper.Here is my script: print.this(false, 0, 6);print.this(false, 7, 23);Is there a sepcific printer setting I must use, to make the pages print out correctly?  Any help would be wonderful, I intended the pages to print out, "fitted."Thank you!

Hi,I am trying to write some code on the "exit" button of a survey that will close the form and export the data as a .csv file to a location on the user's computer of their choice. The data consists of simple radio button answers, some yes / no, and some multiple choice (four possible answers).I've been messing around but haven't found a good solution..Is this possible?Thanks!

Have a custom action setup to reduce pdf file size in a specific folder and its subfolders.  However, I need the action to skip over all other file types that are NOT pdf files.  If it's a javascript command that needs to be inserted into the action, that would be fine.  But haven't found a way to accomplish this. Current action (without javascript command) fires error message when trying to open, .docx, .xlsx, .txt, etc. files. Any help would be greatly appreciated - even if it's to tell me to stop trying, it cannot be done.  Then I will move on.Thanks.

Hii am trying to create a form to that has a text field change color to either green or red depending on three things.  the first variable is a the text field "wpds1", the second is text field "dia1" and the third is the text field "Amps".  the user would input UB36 into the "wpds1" text field and either 5/32 or 1/8 into the "dia1" text field. I am trying to make a field change its fill color based on its expiration date. I have tried to figure out a way to do it using the action builder to no avail.Example:User enters expiration date in the date fieldif the date is greater than 90 days out the fill color stays whiteif the date is greater than 60 days out but less than 90 days out it turns greenif the date is greater than 30 days out but less than 60 days out it turns yellowif the date is less than 30 days out it turns redI was easily able to make this work in excel using =XX>TODAY() + 60 and a quick format change but livecycle is proving to be much more difficulty. Obviously I could stick with excel but PDF is so much cleaner IMO.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We have multiple PDF files in Lotus Notes that needs to be migrated to SharePoint 2013, each PDF in lotus notes has link reference to other PDF.But as we migrate to SharePoint these link reference needs to be updated to point to new location, we are looking for some code solution to read and update these links.Any server side or client side code will work, but we are not willing to use any third party DLLs.Ankit

Hi,I am creating a mental health pdf form survey with very basic yes/no radio button options (See image below). Each page has one question. I am trying to create some simple code that transitions to the next page if a user selects one radio button (Q1 choice 1), but skip to the 11th page if they select the other (Q1 choice 2). I want this to happen when they click the "next" button.I assume I add the code to the "next" button... Something like "if radio button Q1 choice 1 = true, go to next page, else go to 11th page" (excuse my lack of coding knowledge).How would I go about this?Thanks!

Is there a Javascript available that automatically renames a PDF based on the content? Some fields in the PDF should be reflected in the PDF name.

I'm using the javascript map object and its not working as expected. I searched the forum for any issues with the map object, but found nothing. The relevant javascript documentation is here. I created a form with javascript at the Page Level. I've created a PDF with a list of 'results'. Hi,I'm new to Adobe Javascript.We use the Extract and Print commands to create new pdf files which we send to clients. One of the problems is that we are not able to print more than 32 pages using the menu print command.  We need to print up to 100 pages. We are using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, version 19.0.10.20069.49826.So, what we do is perform two print commands to pdf files, then use Adobe Combine to merge the two files together.We want to avoid having to print multiple files and then stapling them together.  We are happy just using the print command to one file.Any suggestions?Rico

Hi! I am trying to pull form data from a PDF document and place it in an email using app.mailMsg - I have a button placed on the page where the data will come from with a mouseup trigger. Created pdf from InDesign and imported graphics and text has hyperlinks. These are interactive in the pdf BUT do not show up as links so I can edit.

I am looking for information on how to mirror text in Acrobat XI Pro. I can mirror an image but not text. I can also flip text horizontally and vertically but I cannot get the TEXT to mirror. Is that still an option in Acrobat XI. I need this for our prepress department. We plate the text on the left and then mirror it on the right so our press can print both sides at the same time. I have had to resort to using an old copy of Acrobat 8 on an old machine and then copying that pdf to the machine I am using now in order to accomplish this task. I have been looking for an answer for a while and can only find information on mirroring an object or image. I hope someone can help.

Hi,I'm trying to setup a button to turn off 9 layers on an interactive pdf form.8 out of 9 of the layers turn off no problem but the 1 layer remains turned on. Really not sure why this is happening. Double checked obvious things like layer names but to no avail. Ok so I have a situation where I have Check boxes and text boxes that are related and need to populate together to a single text box  BUT I have another set of check boxes and text boxes that are related that ALSO need to populate together to the SAME single text box mentioned previously. When populating a "list_box" from an already (case insensitive) sorted json object, the results display in the list box as being sorted with case sensitivity in mind. Does Acrobat apply its own (case sensitive) sorting logic to this/all element types?
