Many design studios/businesses already have their assets sorted into folders. To make the migration to CC Libraries easy (and in some cases, possible at all), any folders that are dragged in should be come GROUPS/SUBGROUPS.How it works currently is that any folders dragged in gives an error about unsupported file types.
The share artboard button is so close to the artboard selection that when moving artboards around (especially when zoomed out) it's very easy to share a board you didn't intend to. When organizing boards (and trying to be efficient) it is irritating to have to load an external browser window to delete the accidentally shared board every slight misclick. Can this feature be moved or spaced out more from the artboard title?
Add "last updated" status to libraries to alert if a shared library could be out of date or isn't updating + add a refresh button to ensure current version is active.
We need to be able to increase the size of the library panel preview images. On a 4k screen, they are tiny.
I accidentally chose my "personal profile" when setting up this new profile deal instead of my work profile. The personal is just a free account, but now all my assets, files, libraries are on that profile and it doesn't matter, because I can't run any programs under that profile. I wish I could just re-set it up so I can select my work profile. But after wasting so much time researching what to do, all I have come up with is download all my assets, stock files, Librarys, etc reupload them to the 2nd profile. This is ridiculous, How much time and frustration this has caused me. Signing in back and forth over and over again to each different profile. Please bring back the old way.
A status display of the ongoing up- and downloading is essential:- What file is transfered- How long it will take- Up-/downloading speed- Batchlist of the upcoming files to synchronizeEspesially when working in a team and on a tight schedule, I want my final rendering to be processed primary and fast. Adobe CC can't garantee a proper file sync, a transparent process and a stable connection. Furthermore. My Explorer crashes, because Adobe CC can't even synchronize properly. It stucks, my Explorer stucks and I can't open my file directory, even if I closed the CC. I need to restart then to just open another file. My updated files get lost in the process of an crippled synchronization. That is a katastrophy. I need then to do work again and again, just because Adobe can't garantee a stable workflow. -> Mark CC as BETA. Don't let professionals use it, unless you want to look like a f****** kindergarden. We used the CC in a team of two motion designers and the result now is to search for
After installing Creative Cloud on two of my PCs I started to upload files to it. Soon I discovered that a new folder "Creative Cloud Files" was created on both PCs, and everything I'd uploaded to the cloud was also (seemingly) synced to these folders. That defies the purpose of having 1TB Cloud storage. I want to move to the Cloud what I don't have space for otherwise. Opening the "Preferences" page on the Creative Cloud desktop app, I find no way of deciding against syncing files that I upload "back" to my PCs. There's a "Creative Cloud Sync" check box which says ".. stop syncing your files and libraries to Creative Cloud...". It's not fully explained what this means. Will, for example, unchecking this stop photos I add to Lightroom from being stored in the Cloud? What is a "library"? Further, where can I specify that I do NOT want files that I UPLOAD to be copied locally to my other devices? Adding to this, there was no wizard of guide to tell me about these things when I installe
When you place a file in InDesign there is an option that allows you to Show Import Options. These options differ for Ai files, psd files and other file types. For instance with Ai files you can select which artboard to place and select a cropping area such as bleed or media etc. With psd files you can select the layers or layer comp when placing. This option to Show Import options when placing in InDesign from the assets panel is sorely needed.
It should be possible to allow/disallow the download the revision file sent to the client.
It would be so nice if we could pass the ownership of a library from one user to another. Now we have libraries owned by a user who should not be owner of the shared libraries aymore, and we need to download the libraries and share them again. But nobody knows what will happen to all the files that have icons and colours etc linked to the libraries that we used to have. It needs to be possible to change the owner!
Adobe Color (adobe.color.com) palettes are currently restricted to 5 swatch colors, no more, no less. It is an easy and quick tool to use in the early stages of brainstorming a color palette, but not every color palette has exactly 5 colors. A range of 2-10 swatches would make this a usable tool, as opposed to one that becomes unusable midway through using the tool to try out ideas. Other online sites have added customizable ranges and features that are consistent with Adobe Color. It is baffling that Adobe has kept a strict 5-swatch range on Adobe Color since 2012 without improving its usability.
Please implement the reporting feature to Adobe Stock for Teams, same as the existing reporting for ETLA. With ETLA you could export a whole report with all attributes like Asset-ID, Name, Creator, Purchaser, price, licensetype, etc.now on Adobe Stock for Teams (via Value Incentive Program) I can only analyze the purchased assets and used credits by using the license history and look up at each asset the price.
The ability to Group existing Libraries would help with having to scroll through all of my libraries to find what I'm looking for.For example I create a new library for each month and now have to scroll through lots of libraries to find the one I need, If I was able to group all of the months by year it would be great.
The ability to have mulitple cc library palettes. And have them open at one time. Sometimes mulitple campaigns will cross and be in one media type - For instance Easter/Spring. Or Superbowl and Valentine's Day. I'd love the ability to have both of those libraries open at once.
It'd be really useful if it was possible to upload ABR files to Libraries, making it much easier to store them, move them, organise them, send them.
I rely on CC libraries for many hundreds of assets across multiple clients (especially for maintaining icon libraries). I lovingly create and name my assets in Adobe Illustrator, which are then intelligently organized in folders. This folder structure stays intact when opened in the CC Libraries panel in InDesign. Unfortunately, when I need to place, link, or relink images from CC libraries in InDesign, the folder structure gets collapsed (so instead of "icons_2020_blue," I get hundreds of raster and vector graphics collapsed into a single "Images" folder, which I'm unable to sort or filter (I'm forced to visually scan hundreds of similar images, trying to find the correct asset on sight). Am I missing something obvious? Please help — this is a workflow killer.
As a corporate designer AND a freelancer, my library panel gets clogged with sub brands in the corporate realm. It would be AWESOME if you could group sets of Libraries into main folders to clear the need to scroll :). I know I can use the search function...but you know us designers like to name files/assets in the same naming conventions that work 🙂
Please make Adobe Stock subscriptions for Teams accounts only accessible to the customer they are assigned to instead of the entire team. For larger corporations that have thousands of users all in different departments shared stock assets are not ideal. It runs the risk of the assets being used up by those who have not paid for stock access and the actual persons who paid with no assets left. Credits should only be accessible to the customer who purchased and they should have the option to add users to their subscriptions.
Please add the ability to add pattern swatches to a library like you can with colours. If you want to save a pattern to the library you have to add a box filled in with the pattern to the library as a graphic. Then to use it you need to drag that graphic from the library onto the document page, embed it, add that pattern to the document swatch palette and then you can apply it to another shape. It's a very clunky process
I use creative cloud to share the social media posts I make for clients. They have a permanent link to their own folder where they can enter and see but they have to find the post that’s schedule for this day. Instead if they could sort by most recent they wouldn’t have to find anything. It would just be the first file. They don’t have creative cloud they use the web view. And I can’t ask a client to download an app only for my artworks.
I’d like to be able to sort assets by size and date added.
I would like to be able to add tags to files in my Adobe Cloud Documents. It would be a column in the file view that I can search by, sort by, and filter by. Thank you!
Can you please allow me to combine my document cloud files into my creative cloud so I can sync both to my local hard drive. Or allow OneDrive to access my document cloud.
Please use the file name of the asset added to the Library panel as the name of the asset in panel. Calling something "Artwork 4" is useless to me. It really seems like the people designing the new upgrades have little real-world experience with this program and/or y'all fired your UX team. In the first 30 seconds of trying to use the Library Panel, it has proven itself to now be a useless time suck. This is the opposite of what it used to be.Please stop taking features away when you do updates. Please get a new batch of people for whatever remains of your UX team to interview. Please include industry professionals with over 10 years experience. We know what we need.
-Add "Print" option in online Share for Review linkLove the new Share for Review Tool, yet some of my clients want to print out the Pages to look over. I'd love for them be able to print themselves, within the link without me having to give them a separate PDF version.
