Adobe Fonts

Hello community, I use Adobe Fonts to synchronize fonts to my desktop at home. Some fonts however, for example FF Scala and FF Scala Sans, do not properly display in Word/PowerPoint. FF Scala for instance is displayed as ScalaPro and ScalaPro-Italic. This means that I can't use the italics option when using the Roman, instead having to change the font alltogether. Is there any way to explain to the office programs, Word and PowerPoint in particular, that these fonts in fact belong together? I can't access the files as this violates the Adobe CC license and Adobe's own software does recognize the font as one in these examples. I have other typefaces such as Acumin which are also mostly seperate, but Acumin Bold and Italic aren't listed but are found using the proper buttons (as should be the case with Scala)

I already have the Merriweather font, but I am also trying to add Merriweather Sans.  I keep getting the same "already on this device" error.  Is there any way around this?

I have a new Mac, latest OS and latest version of Illustrator (and Adobe CC). When I go to select "More Fonts" in the character palette, after the first screen or two, font names show, but not the sample text, so I don't know what those fonts look like.I've looked at the other posts on fonts and Illustrator but have not found an answer to this issue.Many thanks in advance.Karl

Question:I designed a printed document for a client with an adobe font. However they also requested that I make it digital for them so people can view it on their website. I outlined all of the text etc for the final product which was a PDF with some hyperlinks added. My question is; as I have an adobe account and have the font installed etc, is this sufficient for the online PDF or does the client also need to obtain An ePub license version of it even if they aren’t creating with it. I have designed and developed the PDF using my adobe fonts. Thanks in advance

Hi, I am looking into typekit integration and found "limits" endpoint is deprecated.https://docs.typekit.io/#//limits Is this replaced with something else? If not, what is the recommended way to check the permission/plan? Thank you

The fonts appear in the "add Fonts" as you can see in the screensot but there is no way to activate them or even get them into the non-activated list in the other screenshot. SO FRUSTRATING!They are installed as you can see. What is the magic to get this to work?

I am an administrator and I am trying to set up fonts for our org. When I go into creative cloud and then click the fonts icon I get "Permission may be required. You may need to request permission from your IT administrator to use Adobe Fonts." Also, I can't sign in to fonts.adobe.com. "Access Denied. You do not have access to this service. Contact your IT administrator to gain access, or sign in with an Adobe ID."  Any help with this would be great thank you!

Hi,I have a CC account and need to add a particular font (Amboy) to a website. I follow the instructions here:Typekit Help | Add fonts to your website But it refers to a </> 'create a web project button' which I cannot find on the Amboy font page.Instead it says 'Available with CC' .The font page gives me the CSS for the font but I'm assuming it still needs to know where it can get this font.Can anyone advise me on how to do get this font on to my website?Thanks

hi, I have the Photography package. Are Adobe fonts included with it? i activated a font in adobe fonts, then tried to get it to work in my 2018 photoshop using forum advice but it won't work. My creative cloud icon didn't have the options I'd read about. My iMac is a 2008 model with El Capitan. is it just not possible with how out of date my stuff is? I don't have money to upgrade. i've been uploading google fonts instead with no issues. thanks, kate

I've seen a similar question back in the Typekit days but wanted to bring this up now in Adobe Fonts.I'm just starting to use Adobe Fonts in websites which is great because of the wide array of font choices. However, my clients are a little apprehensive about using them because of how a Web Project is tied to someone's CC account.So what happens when I design a website using a Web Project that is tied to my account and suddenly my account goes inactive for some reason. Do all those fonts get replaced?The Title was edited by Moderator.

HI All, I have uploaded/installed my custom fonts to adobe creative cloud to use from Cloud. So that, everyone in my office can use the same fonts. But its not showing on other computers Thanks,Krish

Hi! There used to be Ethiopic fonts. I had one called Noto Sans Ethiopic. When trying to activate fonts now and browsing them on fonts.adobe.com I am told that "Sorry, we couldn’t find any matches for this search" when trying to look for an Ethiopic font. My hope was to write something in Tigrinya. Any tips?

For some reason fonts are misbehaving. When inside PS and I select and adobe font, it get the error you see in the subject. Sometimes (Origin Font) I just have to select it as the font to use and I get the error. Sometime (Medusa Font) I can actually select the font face but if I try to move it with the move tool...error. When you click the learn to fix button, it does not seem relevant to this particular issue (a font). I've activated/deactivated fonts a bunch of times. Deleted the font cache. Restarted PS/Computer/Creative Cloud. PS on the latest version. Updated video drivers, etc... Not sure what else to do and unfortunately need the Origins font to complete a project. And its weird, it just started happening. I was working with the Orgins font and made a file no problem. Went back the next day for some edits and now I get the error everytime. It's also not the file, it's doing it on multiple files, even a blank canvas with just a text layer. Regular installed fonts

Can you add Jost font family to Adobe fonts so I can use it within AdobeXD prototypes? On my mobile device it always says that this font is missing and currently can't be activated at fonts.adobe.com. If it is at google fonts I assume its free to use in project so might it be added? Link to font at G-fonts.https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Jost#standard-styles

hello, I'm working with an old version of creative suite (15.1) that is installed on my desktop - it's registered on my adbove account and I have the creative cloud installed. I'm trying to activate more fonts to use with it but it seems I have to subscribe to a plan to do this - but they all cover the apps that I already have. Is there a way to activate fonts for my registered products? Any tips much appreciatedThanksChrissi

How do I insert the Alga font into my CSS?

I've created a new project and added a bunch of fonts (Sofia Pro) to it (including bold, normal ande light font weights). Adobe Fonts has generated a CSS file and I have included it in my site's header. It works, but I cannot seem to be able to use light fonts.Eg:font-weight: 100; doesnt work, but font-weight: 700;does.Would anyone know how I can fix this?

Hi, I decided to use Minion 3 for my dissertation instead of Minion Pro, partly because I liked the updated Greek and it features the prime symbol which I use to number different carbons (chemistry is the subject). I understand that Minion 3 is missing the "condensed" series from Minion Pro which is no problem because I do not use it. However, I wanted to set some text in italic small caps and had to notice that those are also absent in Minion 3. Is this intentional? It seems rather weird to not have true italic small caps included in this typeface. Obviously, I can switch to Minion Pro for those parts, but it just seemed weird to me. Thank you.

HiI've have activated the Futura PT font in my Creative Cloud Application, and the support has been horrible. He does not understand that my fonts are NOT downloaded to my computer and he does not undertsand that I would like to use them in WordPress. Can anybody help getting me through how to download and install them in WordPress? I'm not a tech savy in ANY WAY, so step-by-step guidelines would be highly appreciated. ThanksMichael

I have checked on the Adobe website and clicked "activate",  I get the notice that it was activated. I did this while logged into Creative Cloud. Not showing up. I go to Creative Cloud and under Fonts I see that it's activated. Not showing up.  I log out of CC and log back in. Not showing up.  I restart the computer. Not showing up.  I update my operating system. Not showing up.  I look in my Font Book on my mac, it's not there either.  What am I doing wrong???   

I am working on a p5.js sketch and I would like to use Adobe fonts.Would anyone be able to help me with that?

When selecting an available font family in the drop down window I can see the font style Sample. Why do the Asian font families show Asian characters instead of  the English Sample when the font is English letters? I have been using Photoshop products for 10 years and until now have had no reason to care, but I am looking for a specific font style and the lack of a "sample" is annoying.Is there a way to deal with this? The same can actually be said for font families in C:/Windows/Fonts.

Not sure if this is an After Effects problem or an Adobe Fonts problem... But I'm working with the Rig Shaded font in an After Effects composition, using the Bold Face style with the Bold Extrude. After I duplicate the original text layer and change its style from Bold Face to Bold Extrude, the spacing is much wider and the Extrude style no longer lines up with the Face style. This doesn't happen in Illustrator or InDesign, for example, and I have not changed any character or paragraph parameters between the top and bottom layer. This happens not only with bold styles, but also light and medium. The width discrepancy appears between the face styles and the 3D styles; however, the 3D styles all seem to line up with eachother correctly. (Video clip attached as well.) I'm generally familiar / comfortable with After Effects, but I have no clue what's going on here... Thanks,jonathan

I activated a font I want to use from Creative Cloud. I want to use it in Procreate but can not locate the font I want anywhere. It shows as active in CC but can not be seen to be used anywhere on my iPad or mac. Can anyone help,  please? i tried to add font in Procreate but hit the wall when it brings me to cc authentication and nothing happens😒
