I'm working on uploading my third party fonts to my Creative Cloud. It was fine for a week or so, but suddenly the other day, it starts giving me the error, "There was an error loading your fonts." It also isn't bring my fonts into any of the Adobe apps. It's happening on multiple computers, so I know it isn't internet connection or computer memory.
Several months ago, I found a stencil font on Adobe Fonts called Joschmi, in the family called Hidden Treasures of the Bauhaus Dessau. For a project in my graphic design class, I made a non-stencil font based on Joschmi. Now I'm turning it into a full display typeface, and I'm trying to figure out how I am allowed to use this custom font I made from an Adobe font. It is essentially my own non-stencil version of Joschmi, with a few alterations to square off the rounded caps.I'm not having any luck figuring out how I am allowed to use this custom font. I'm assuming I can show it in my portfolio and use it in my projects, but can I use it commercially? Would I be able to sell it, or allow it to be used for free by others? What restrictions would I have?Below is an image of my font compared to Joschmi.
Hi there. Does anyone know why Athelas won't activate on an iMac Pro running Big Sur?
I'm trying to find Blackletter typefaces. When I go to Type Kit I input "Blackletter" into the dialogue box and it says there's no results. Of course there is black leather type faces available it is a gigantic category of typeface. Can anyone please tell me how to use Typekit and why adobe makes it difficult?
Hi all, I am using an external e-learning platform and I am able to upload my own custom fonts. Having found my fonts on Adobe Typekit, I took to downloading them - which is great. However, I now need to upload my font files to this learning platform, after having transformed them to a WOFF file. My question is, where are these font files actually stored so I can gain access to them and transform the file type so they can be uploaded? Thanks, Harley
Are there and plans to add Welsh to the list of languages when searching in browse fonts.?
I'm looking for some advice on how to add Adobe Fonts to the Hugo builder. I'd rather not have to add the fonts I need as static woff files. Any help is much appreciated. ThanksRichard
I'm making a Package Design for a client, I'm using several Fonts from Typekit, like Forma DJR Banner and Bebas Neue Pro. I have an Adobe subscription and it says in the FAQ that I can use the fonts for personal and commercial client projects - does this mean the Client does not have to purchase a license themselves? It's enough if I have a license?I couldn't find this topic anywhere in the support forums, sorry if it's already been discussed. Thanks for help!
I am looking for a modern sans serif and serif type in one font family. Scala and Scala sans is one of my favorites but it is too old.Is there a catagory name for this or do I have to tryle and error my way through the catalogue?Anyone?
On TypeKit/Adobe Fonts, Baskerville URW has 8 fonts with weights from regular to bold. When I used it a few weeks ago the font had OpenType features. Now even as I load all eight fonts, I can only access the roman and italic and there are no OpenType features for oldstyle numerals and small caps. I also can only access the ligatures through the glyph menu—a keystroke command does not work and the hover OpenType feature is not available. Is there a problem with the typeface, or has the OpenType version been removed from TypeKit? Thanks!
Hi!Is it normal that Adobe Fonts take a very long time to autactivate? I am a graphic design teacher, and waiting 10 minutes for font activation every time I grade a project is not working our for me (I have about 80 students!). Thank you!
Steps to reproduce:I'm coding a landing page and using an externally referenced Adobe Font (https://use.typekit.net/quu0wwz.css). The font itself is alternate-gothic-atf.Actual results:When I test the page across all browsers, the text sits higher in the div in Firefox.Expected results:In the other browsers, the text sits in the center of the div as I'd expect. I'm looking for consistency between browsers. This doesn't appear to be a line-height issue or any sort CSS-related issue. It appears to be an issue with the font itself (or how the browser is rendering it), and I've seen it happen with other fonts too.
I'm working on a type lockup in Illustrator, but when I copy-paste into my layout in Photoshop the activated Adobe font inside the vector smart object isn't showing up as that font. I had two weights of Omnes used and while the Medium weight showed up correctly, the Bold weight was previewing as the default font shown when a font is missing. I can edit the vector smart object (opened in Illustrator, see white background image) and it shows correctly there, but saving and returning to Photoshop doesn't fix the issue there. Also, Omnes Bold is activated in Photoshop. I can type live text into Photoshop in that font and weight no problem. (See gray version of "smile" as live text below blue vector smart object).I can outline the text inside the vector smart object to fix the problem, but obviously, it's an inconvenience as that removes editability. I searched around to see if there were any help topics on this, but didn't find any. Using the most up to date versions of Abode CC (PS 21.2.4
I've activated the Brandon Grotesque font and added it to my website via the link tag. I'm sure it's added properly and most of the letters look fine except for the ones with diacritical marks (the website is in Croatian). I thought this font had support for these letters because when I test out a word in the "Sample Text" input field, it renders fine but on my website it does not. What's going on here?
Love what you're doing already. This would further help as on occasion you're asked to create something from a specific era. The ability to type in a year or decade for results would save so much time. For example, search for "1986" or the 30s/1930s/The Thirties.
Greetings! Would like to use Myriad font or similar in MS Powerpoint presentations. How can I do that? Tks
Another big mess from Adobe Fonts. We used Adobe Sans in several school books and yesterday we detected that the name of the font in some weights have changed, ex: Adele Sans SemiBold to Adelle Sans Semibold. But the bigger problem is that the kerning has also changed, causing the text to reflow.in the image below, in black is the old font and in cian is the new font.We realized this because the font name changed. If it hasn't changed we could we could only notice when the book was printed in the printing shop, leading to massive production costs if we have to reprint it again.Fonts in Adobe fonts cannot be upgraded as they are now.If the kerning or characters are changed, a new font (with different name) should be created.
I have the Adobe Photoshop monthly $10 plan and when I try to activate the Mr. Eaves family of fonts all of them say "not available." However, I know someone that was able to use them within the past 2 days. How can I get some fonts in this class?
Hi, I am very new to this licensing thing, so I really appreciate the help (and patience) you will show and give. I am preparing a brandbook for a company. I would like to use the font Myriad Pro as the "official font" for this company. As you probably know, Myriad Pro comes included in my Creative Cloud products. The use of the font would be (but not limited to):- Text documents- Powerpoint presentations- website- company logos I know that this company has several Creative Cloud licenses (and pays thousands of $$ to Adobe for this). I myself have a Creative Cloud license. So, my question is:- Do I need to pay a fee for using Myriad Pro in the situations described above?- Would the company need to pay a fee for using Myriad Pro in their presentations, documents, websites and/or logos?- Does the fact that I have a Creative Cloud license (and the fact that the company has dozens of those) means that I (and them) are OK to use the fonts, as long as I (or the
My activated fonts, which show up as activated in creative cloud, are not recognized by InDesign this morning. How can I fix this?
While other installers work ok. E.g. Adobe font work.
私のサイトは非同期遷移ですべてのページへ移動できるように構築してあるのですが、何ページか移動すると、consoleに以下のようなtypekitのエラーログが出力されます。 404 https://use.typekit.net/af/xxxxxx/xxxxxx/xx/m?primer=xxxxxx このヘルプページに書いてあるとおり、use.typekit.net 上にフォントのサブセットが既にあれば404がでることが正常であると書いてありますが、そもそもエラーを回避することはできないのでしょうか。https://helpx.adobe.com/jp/fonts/user-guide.html/jp/fonts/using/dynamic-subsetting.ug.html 私の要望としては以下の2点です。・consoleにエラーログを出力しない方法はありますか?・ログだけでなく、そもそもダウンロードせずエラーを回避することはできますか? -- ちなみに、fontの読み込みには、以下のようなJSを記載しています (function(d) { var config = { kitId: 'xxxxxxx', scriptTimeout: 3000, async: true }, h = d.documentElement, t = setTimeout(function() { h.className = h.className.replace(/\bwf-loading\b/g, "") + " wf-inactive"; }, config.scriptTimeout), tk = d.createElement("script"), f = false, s = d.getElementsByTagName("script")[0], a; h.className += " wf-loading";
I get a message that I have to ask for permission because of the rights and when i make a preflight package the type is not included. What must i do to fix this? Thanks for helping me out.
I am missing the Japanese fonts HiraKakuProN-W6, HiraKakuPro-W6. I have used them extensively so it is really problematic to update every single artwork to a different (worse) font.Searching the online Adobe font repository they are nowhere to be found.Any help is much appreciated.
Where are the Adobe CC font files locally stored on mac? How can I find it? I am using Adobe CC products only for the font. But I can't find it on local.
