Adobe Fonts

Hello! After an hour searching online, and another hour in Adobe support hell, I'm still unable to get claification on the following: My goal is to use unique glyhps/characters in the Typekit provided font, Stratos on my website. These are single glyphs/characters like arrows, hearts, etc. Things you would see in a user interface. To see an example of Stratos extensive character set I'd like to access, visit the foundry's typeface spec here and scroll to the bottom of the page. Does anyone know how I can access the extensive characters availble to me on Typekit included in Stratos on my personal website? Googling this has led me down so many dead ends. Thank you so much for your help!

Hi guys,Just subscribe a CreativeCloud. I wanted to use adobe fonts on my Wordpress.I paste the Link to the head part, I add the css but nothing change.I add a Custom Adobe Fonts (Typekit) plugin to add my ID. Can you tell me how can I use it to wordpress please. Thank you all ! Jordan

Is there a font file that comes with it?  The code alone isn't working for my site. 

I very much do not like the new Desktop App and hope that it goes back to the older UI.  But with that being said, I have learned that not using an app will help to get Adobe to make changes. My dilemma - I need to be able to sync my fonts but would love to not have to use the Desktop App.  Is this possible or do I have to keep using the overly bloated desktop app?

Hi,We have an Adobe Fonts project with 23 fonts enabled, as shown in this screenshot:  First we call API endpoint https://fonts.adobe.com/docs/api/v1/:format/kits/:kit  to get all font family info in that kit. Then we call API endpoint https://fonts.adobe.com/docs/api/v1/:format/families/:family/:variation  for each variant in each font family. Somehow it gives HTTP code 404 (Not Found) for following variants:n3 in family Nimbus Sans Condensed (cbsf)i3 in family Nimbus Sans Condensed (cbsf)i4 in family Nimbus Sans Condensed (cbsf)i7 in family Nimbus Sans Condensed (cbsf)i8 in family Nimbus Sans Condensed (cbsf)n2 in family Nimbus Sans (jyxm)n5 in family Nimbus Sans (jyxm) Could somebody help me to find out why it is happening? Thanks in advance! 

Hi there,I'm rebranding for a client and part of the job is to create some Word templates for them to create reports. I am using Avenir, and they will need to use it too. Is it possible to purchase a license for them without them having to subscribe to creative cloud!?The Avenir available for download from Fontspring etc have suffix's, and so Word doesn't recognise them as the same font that I have used. Thanks in advance for any light you can shed on this subject!J

I work in an office with 11 other CC subscribers and recently had to intervene to adjust an InDesign 2020 file by one of my colleagues. Upon opening the file on my own machine, it said that Nimbus Sans Condensed Bold was missing, but the Adobe Fonts Activate checkbox was not syncing or linking. After going onto Adobe Fonts and activating all Nimbus Sans fonts, the issue persisted. I then took another look at the file on the computer that generated the artwork, and the font was not showing up as missing, but shown as an Adobe Font that was activated. To this end, I then de-synched the Nimbus Sans fonts on the author's machine, then re-synched them, and only then did the error show on the author's machine. The specific font originally used was Nimbus Sans Bold Condensed, NOT Nimbus Sans Cond L Bold  

I've had this font called Balboa lose it's condensed versions for some reason. It's been happening for a while, but I've just hit a point where I really need the extra condensed version and it's not available. I've tried these steps, but it hasn't resolved the issue: https://helpx.adobe.com/fonts/kb/troubleshoot-font-activation.htmlThe font says it's activated, so I'm not sure why this is happening, but it's pretty frustrating. I'm hoping someone knows how to fix this.    

We are using proxima-nova fonts for our site which is hosted on adobe creative cloud and we are facing a delay which is causing a kind of FOUT (flash of unstyled content) as we can see our default font open-sans which is then replaced by proxima-nova. Is there a way we can host the proxima-nova fonts purchased from adobe creative cloud on our server rather than making a call to adobe creative cloud to resolve this issue?

I'm trying to use an adobe font on my shopify website. All of the tutorials to imbed a font into your website include a font file.  It seems like adobe doesn't offer the font file, only a link. Why is that?  How do you use it for your website then? 

Hello, I have been trying to install chinese adobe font and use it in illustrator but its not working. The Adobe Illustrator software is not showing that font, while. its seenn in photoshop properly. Hi there,I have a problem where an AE file is automatically activating Open Sans Semi bold from Adobe fonts.  I already have all the open sans installed locally and so when I open my AE file, all the semi-bold text is resorting to Times New Roman meaning I have to change all the fonts every time I open it. I've tried resaving the file having specified the local version, then deactivated the open sans in adobe fonts, but whatever I do, when I reopen the issue remains and the font is reactivated. It appears to be the opensans at the bottom of the list (see attached) that is Adobe one but why is it there and why is it not noted as Semi-bold if that is the one activated?

I am found Adobe's restricted font as well as their corporate typeface family Adobe Clean. All the fonts that I have recently subscribed to do not show up on any of my applications. Anyone have any advice or is experiencing the same problem?

I activated Adobe Garamond Pro font. However, this does not appear in the font dialog box on Microsoft Word (having closed and re-opened Word).Garamond is there, as before. So, is Adobe Garamond Pro the same as (plain) Garamond?If not, how do I access it for Word documents?

I'm contacting you to make you aware that I am having difficulties using Adobe Fonts with Creative Cloud.Here is what I'm running:- Windows 10 Home Version 1903 Build 1832.449- Adobe Bridge 9.1- Adobe Creative Cloud 5.0.0.354- Adobe Photoshop 20.0.7- Adobe XD 23.1.32.2On Wednesday October 30, 2019. Everything was working fine.On Thursday October 31, 2019, I had difficulties with a Creative Cloud update and a Photoshop update downloading.Since then I've uninstalled and redownloaded all software from Adobe.Now, with Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App, I'm having these issues:- Spinning circle Loading Adobe Fonts- Cloud Storage doing nothing when displaying Getting Cloud Storage information.It appears nothing is syncing, and I'm hoping you can help me. I'm working on a project that uses Adobe Fonts.

On a mac, just learning Illustrator. I was going through the Adobe tutorials, and it walked me through activating Lato Black. I now have that in my list. I also have another font that I don't remember activating. (I started out a couple months ago, but gave up for a while after getting frustrated.) So now I want to activate another font. I've been paying my monthly fee, so I know it's not that. I click on the font from the "Character > Find More" list. I click on the little cloud on the right. "Activate These Fonts? > OK." I get two opposing arrows on the cloud and it says "Activating." I wait for several minutes and nothing happens. If I click off the application, when I go back, the Character menu has closed, and there's no sign of anything I previously tried to do. I've also clicked on the "i" to be taken to the Adobe Font and flipped the switch to "All Fonts Active" and still nothing. I'm losing my mind! Why was I able to download fonts a couple months ago, but now nothing ha

I'm looking for a font in Adobe that contains the letters of the Dinka alphabet that I can use in Indesign.Any suggestions would be appreciated! 

I wish there was more ways to filter through the typefaces. Such as, I'm working on a project where I would like to specifically use female designed typefaces, but every time I find one I like I had to click through all the way to the font's main page to see that a man has designed it. Just a few more ways to support these kinds of options would be great!

We work in team. We used in project the Carbon fonts from Typodermic. When we close the project and open it on a second computer, the system automatically activates the wrong font which is similarly called T.26 Carbon with the T-26. Has anyone already had this problem and how did you solve it?

Hey,is there anywhere a beta for Adobe Fonts on iOS13 and iPadOS13?

The text below is taken directly from the Font Licensing page. It is exactly the opposite of what I was told on the phone with Adobe support yesterday. I was told I could continue to use all of my "kits" as long as I maintained a single-app CC account. I'm not reselling the fonts. If clients now have to purchase their own CC accounts, the ramifications are enormous for designers who have years of client sites linked to what was formerly Typekit. If clients now have to purchase their own CC accounts, how will the "kit" be transferred? I can't find any info as to how this would work. Please clarify. "Can I use web fonts for my client websites?The Terms of Use permit agency reselling, until December 31, 2019. After that time, your client would need their own Creative Cloud subscription to use for the web font hosting. "
