Hello all, I wanted to ask if there's a way of defining when a watermark appears. For many projects clients want a watermark for a period of time but not right until the end. Is there a way of defining in and out points? Many thanksSimon
Hi How does one go about exporting with GoPro CineForm codec, but still have the same colors I have in After Effects? Whenever I export the colors are a bit saturated.
I'm trying to use Media Encoder CC 2018 (version12.1.2) to export my AVCHD clips to Pro Res 422 for editing in Premiere. Unfortunately there are no Pro Res presets under Quicktime. I had just updated my Creative Cloud apps to the most updated versions of Media Encoder and Premiere for my system (I'm on an older macbook pro). I also tried selecting CUSTOM, then selecting Pro Res options under VIDEO, but nothing will export. Are there bug/fixes or pro res presets I can download? Thanks!
Dear Adobe, You really need to support BM raw in Premiere, Encoder and AFX. Enclosed is a screengrab from your own website. Thanks,Markus Strömqvist
Hii don't find the possibility to choose the LZW Compression by exporting a Tiff sequence. The files are to Big (Pro frame about 8 MB)Where is it? It is hidden?
I am trying to automate the rendering process using templates, extend-script, and apple-script. While running the command: app.project.renderQueue.queueInAME(true); My project gets transferred to Adobe Media Encoder from After Effects and the rendering process starts with the same configuration as the last render. The render time may vary depending upon the complexity of the render. The function queueInAME( ) returns nothing back. Is there any way to know when the rendering task has finished or if there came any errors in the process? Is there a callback method which might enable this?
Is it possible to edit the time between checks? I think its 30 seconds now. So for instance it could check the watch folder every 5 seconds?Title was edited by: Mod
Hi, I'm trying to export a prores 4444 with alpha from After Effects. Under the Quicktime Format there is only GoPro, NTSC and PAL presets. Codecs have cineform and DnXHD too, but no ProRes. I thought it was supported now?Cheers!
Hi everyone,I'm in the middle of a huge editing project involving dozens of short videos (30"-2') and I tried queueing them so as to continue editing other videos during the rendering. Everything went fine until I noticed that some of my titles have their original font replaced. When I export my videos directly from Premiere, I don't have any issues; it only happens when using AME. I read every post regarding this issue and followed every suggestion (clearing the AME and Premiere Media Caches, reinstalling the fonts, restarting the computer, and even unchecking the "import the sequences natively" in AME, but to no avail.Any leads?thanks!
When I turn Glow effect on in After Effects I getAccelerated Renderer ErrorUnable to produce frame.-If I turn glow off it renders.Anyone know why? [Mac Pro 6 core]The same project file I worked on 2 months ago worked fine through Encoder.I'm also getting weird bugs where older project files now takes 30mins-1 hour to render 10 second videos where as 2 months ago they took less than 30secs. (through Encoder)Title was edited by: Mod
Hello, I am attempting to convert some .vob videos. I have tried multiple formats, but every converted video has no audio. I have seen a lot of discussions on this forum about similar situations, but have not managed to fix my problem. I am hoping for some advice more specific to my situation. I am using AME CC 2018. This is my first time using the program so I cannot give too much information about how it has worked for me in the past. I converted a wmv video in order to see how that would work and that converted video does have audio. That makes me think the problem might lie with the vob videos I have, but I do not know what problem that could be. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Hey there..I run into a problem when AME doesn't export my project with my chosen color grade on adjustment layer, or even any of the LUTS.Well then i researched and Unchecked "Import sequences natively" in ADE, and that helped with my LUTS and color grade problem. But then it doesnt apply any of my captions that i wanted to be burned on my video. I have checked all the boxes that it should burn them in but still it doesnt, and immediately when i check "Import sequences natively" magically, LUTS, color grade is gone but Captions are back on ....I send my projects from Premiere to AME.Can someone please help me... Thanks
Hey guys, so i have been having an issue where media encoder, premiere, will be fine exporting/transcoding almost all clips, but certain clips make it essentially freeze about halfway through the export. Two examples:- I have 4 separate wedding video projects with separate folders of footage from each camera. I went to Transcode all of the footage into Proxies, and one of them worked perfectly, transcoding all of their footage into proxies successfully. But then it arrived at Wedding #2, and it hitched and didn't make any progress and the software froze. So then I tried re-oppening and exporting again, same issue. So then I tried exporting directly from Premiere Pro, same issue. Then I tried dynamic linking to After effects, also same issue. - Also I had a sequence with only 2 clips in it, and wanted to export it as a .MOV, and the same problem as above was happening. Then I went to play the video in Prem, iere, and it kept freezing at the same frame
Hi,I am working a lot with HAP codec. The new HAP-Export from adobe doesn't work proberly. It doesnt include the alphachannel. I tried HAP alpha, HAP-Q alpha and Hap only. No alpha channel.I am on Mac.Anyone with that problem?
i have media encoder installed hereC:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Media Encoder CC 2019and getting AEGP Plugin error? However i only get this error message in AE CC2015 works fine with AE CC2019another problem is, when i open manually from AME, i have some elements missing.suppose to be look like thishelp me please!
Ultimately, I'm trying to create an ingest preset so that when I bring footage into Premiere, it will create proxies. I compared a handful of codecs (Prores Proxy, Dnx, Cineform) and none of them come anywhere close to h.264 when it comes to image quality and file size. They all create files that look worse while taking up ten times as much space as h.264.The problem is my footage (Alexa Mini) has five channels of audio, and apparently h.264 does not support five channels of audio. All of the channels are blank audio from the camera, so I don't care about them, but Premiere will not ingest the footage using an h.264 proxy codec because the audio channels do not match.Am I missing something here? 1. Why do video codecs even have varied audio options? 2. Why does h.264 not support five channels? From looking at older threads, it seems like this was totally doable two years ago before they changed the export settings around. You could choose to export a Quicktime, then just pick the H.264
Hi all, I apologize if this question has been answered already, but I couldn't seem to find it. I recorded alot of footage on my GoPro Hero 7 Black in 4k60fps while on vacation and I'm looking to edit it. However, since the GoPro Hero 7 Black shoots in H.265 HEVC it would be resource heavy to try to edit it directly in Premiere Pro. I've decided to convert the footage over to a editing friendly format such as ProRes 422. However, after a successful conversion playback is extremely choppy, image quality seemed to be retained, but the framerate is somewhere on the line of 15fps or less if i were to guess. I've read somewhere that the footage may be variable and confusing the encoder, however using a MediaInfo application my footage is indeed constant. Perhaps my PC specs could assist in finding a solution or determining a bottleneck:CPU: i7-9700k @4.7GHzGPU: Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070RAM: 32gb @3000MhzThe footage is located on a Western Digital Black 2TB HDD 7200RPM. Perhaps the slow hard d

I can't get AE to export to AME. Nothing happens at all. AME doesn't open and when I open it manually the comp doesn't transfer to the program. Another problem I'm having is when I render inside AE the file is gigantic. I have exported files before that were in the MB's but this latest video I rendered inside AE was over 5gb. I'm very curious about what the problem is. There is no update waiting to be had either.EDIT: I'm trying to render to AVI if that matters.
Rendering out of After Effects... Every attempt stops working at the same frame about halfway through. The Fan on the Macbook Pro cranks up and the estimated time just keeps going up. Not sure how to even begin troubleshooting this one. Rendered same comp this morning without any problems...
I have a relatively high performance computer, but it only seems like AME is getting slower and slower at rendering my videos. I am wondering if Adobe will ever support Nvidia's NVENC or AMD's VCE? I'm getting tired of sitting here for 6+ Hours waiting for a simple 5 Minute h.265 Video to render, only to find out that it failed. The worst offender was on a video of mine that was about 2 Hours long in 1080p60 with a Bitrate of about 150Mbps using the h.265 HEVC encoder, it took literally 8 hours to render and made it all the way to the end only for it to fail at the last moment. I would love to use the HEVC hardware transcoding feature that is greyed out on my settings, but unfortunately me turning on the graphics functions on my CPU would defeat the purpose of having two RTX2080s in my system. Will there ever be any support for the GPGPU Hardware transcoding technology is my question? Or will I have to start searching elsewhere for my video editing needs that will satisfy my desire and
Anyone know how to wrap a sequence of TIFF essence to a single MXF files? This
Hello,I am running CS6 on a Windows 7 PC. I just got my computer back from my computer guy, who tells me there are no viruses or memory/video card issues.I was rendering routinely with no problems. Then, just the other day, everything I render in Media Encoder, After Effects, and Premiere renders for a while before going to a red screen. I rendered out a .mov with no compression, and then I take that .mov and put it into Media Encoder to give me a compressed H264 or .wmv. I've done it hundreds of times. But this time I'm getting this problem. In Media Encoder it gets somewhere halfway through, then the screen turns red and the time remaining starts counting up. I've also gone back to the original After Effects file to render it out again, and although I rendered it out successfully several times before, this time it turns to a red screen halfway through the render. Also, I have my working files on an external hard drive and am rendering to my desktop on my C drive. I found these two thre
Hello!I have a situation where four workstations are loaded with Adobe After Effects and a dedicated render server is running Adobe Media Encoder.Traditionally, individuals saved copies of their project files into a special networked folder that was setup as an auto-encoding watch folder within AME.I am looking into switching to Team Projects but I'm stuck on this part of the workflow. How does this auto-encode or "cue" process work in Team Projects?I already found the part of AME where you can access Team Projects (in the Media Browser) but it is not realistic for people to be accessing the render server desktop all the time to be cuing their renders. I need something automated like before.Thoughts?
I've got a Retina iMac (iMac19,2) with a Radeon Pro 560X and 16GB of RAM. AME crashes continuously and generates crash reports which I have attached below. Can anybody please explain what's going on?! AME crashes for both H.264 and MP3 and all rendering engines... I have also uninstalled and reinstalled AME to no avail.
