HelloI once used the free trial for Media Encoder quite a while ago and have not used it since the trial period ended but, I keep getting update notifications for it.Is there a way to stop getting these update requests or, has Media Encoder now been included with the Photoshop/Lightroom $9.99/mo plan?

Hello,If I select in After Effects that I want to render my video with Media Encoder, the program will start up. Hi,I need some urgent advice on bluray settings. I have a master movie file that is 150GB 1920x1080 29.97 progressive and I want to output the best settings for a blu-ray DVD. I'm not sure what frame rate the export settings should be and whether I should choose H.264 or Mpeg2The DVD is for NZ but I don't know whether it really matters if I choose NTSC or PAL. It is being projected in a cinema if that make a difference. I also have an 8GB version of the film and I'm not sure if the quality difference between that and 150GB file is that different. Is it safer to use the enormous master file?Hope someone can help!

I have a Quicktime file from a video lab that has 4 audio tracks. 2 of the tracks are supposed make up the Dolby E Stream surround sound file.For reference, this is the audio tracks in the Quicktime file:Track 1 and 2: Stereo TracksTrack 3 and 4: Dolby E StreamIs there a way to load the Quicktime file in Adobe Media Encoder, and generate an AAC 5.1 Surround Sound file? Or as a fallback, to take the 2 Dolby E Stream files, and output the 6 separate mono tracks

Dear AME Support Team , As mentionned on this picture bellow , the remainning time ( 5h ) is finished but i can't get my produced video as AME doesn't show terminated state on the queue , please help out 'cause i've this problem once i tried 30 FPS settings instead of 15 FPS ( Weak Quality ) , i don't know if it will be the same result for the next video that has the same settings.Keep in mind that i don't a special graphic card

I've downloaded all the WebM presets from WebM for Premiere . They are .epr files. The instructions say to import them one by one into Media Encoder. When I try this, I get an error, "Preset could not be imported. No exporter for this preset."How do I import the presets? (And yes, I tried copying them over in the Systems Presets folder and it didn't work).TIA

Hi!I have no idea what I'm doing wrong, but AME is always performing terrible.35-40min render for a pretty basic 1min mp4. Have the latest macbook pro.Pretty much any free online tool have better performance

I just rendered a 9 minute clip that took several hours. It is one long green screen take, keyed with Keylight.. Background is a PNG., with a vignette and slight Gaussian blur. One title layer overlay. iMac late 2013 27" 32BG RAM OSX 10.9.5 Media Encoder 2015.4 Pulling cam files from a USB 3 drive, writing to another USB 3 drive. The cam original is H.264, 90 mbps, 1080p. I opened the AE sequence in Media Encoder, outputting to DNxHD 145. I have 20GB dedicated to Encoder, and for rendering GPU Open CL is enabled. Not even sure if that makes a difference here, just trying to provide all the details. Is this just the nature of the beast, or is there a way to speed things up a bit? Would precomping the 3 layers in the AE sequence help at all?

Two days ago, I interrupted AME from rendering one video. When I I tried "Add to Queue Media Encoder" from AE to AME again, the dynamic link would be in a forever "connecting to dynamic link" process. I haven't installed any new softwares/ plug-ins. I did not find a section for questions regarding Panel SDK.Following the provided panel SDK examples, I am now trying to enqueue a job (add a job to batch). Currently it is not really clear, which of the provided functions I can use to do this and which parameters (order of paramters) the functions expect. Debugging my implementation (Extension Script Toolkit) I can see, that calling app.getFrontend() returns a set of functions to add something to batch:addCompToBatchaddDLToBatchaddFileSequenceToBatchaddItemToBatchaddXMLToBatchWhich of these functions is the right one to choose? Which parameters does the function expect?All job information we can provide are:filename (path to file)Preset-Name (or id)If we need a preset location (file path) how can we get the path for the presetDestination pathThanks in advance for any help.

I have a bunch of legacy XDCAM video files that I need to ingest for a client. It looks like with XDCAM, the camera records clip metadata to an XML file along with the original media. On ingest that metadata gets imbedded into the movie file. If the proprietary Sony software is used the metadata value from the field "Title" overwrites the original clip name preventing redundant names. (Apparently, the camera names clips in sequential order starting from 0001, but that sequence restarts every time the camera power is cycled.) AME is able to read those metadata values, so it stands to reason that I could have it use those values to overwrite the clip names, but I'm not sure how to do this. Does anyone have a thought on this?

I upgraded to AME 2017 and I could swear it said it would save my presets but my H264 encoding presets are gone....Upgrading always seems to be an exercise in frustration..... Still trying to get Premiere Pro to work but that is another matter.Are these presets saved somewhere so I can copy them into the appropriate folder for 2017? I am on Windows 10.If not, if I know exactly where they were in CC2015 before I ran the upgrade, I can restore from a backup.  Just the preset files, not the whole program of course.It seems like this would not have been difficult to do automatically.Further, I only was upgrading Premiere Pro 2017 and saw all the options...it said it would move all presets over and delete the old version. Ok, I chose that.However immediately after Premiere Pro updated it ran the AME update. Which I understand logically as they are related, but I was not given the option to choose any preferences for the upgrade for AME.Thanks,BJBBJB1

I can successfully transcode to Quicktime H.264, Animation, GoPro Cineform, but NOT ProRes. All ProRes Codecs fail - Exporter returned bad result. Mac OSX 10.10.5 Yosemite. AME CC 2017Any suggestions to Export ProRes?Thanks,Mark

As Flash player will disappear I wonder how I will be able to show films/slideshows I've earlier made in Flash?Some of them I have only digitally stored, and some are published on my website.There must be a way of converting them so I can keep them for the future.HOW ????????????????

Whenever i try to open media encoder it shows up on my dock then quickly disappears, same thing happens when i try to queue it in After Effects. Please help!
