I have a picture sequence in After Effects CC 2017 which i want to render as H 265 with the Media Encoder CC 2017. But when i start the process only the test pattern is going to be rendered.Any ideas ?
It has ruined my work totally. Media Encoder renders with a lot of glitches, in every document, not always in the same segment of time. I've downgraded to some previous versions, but the problem stills, even if I fully unistalled all Creative Cloud. I hope this could be fixed soon.
Hi,The ProblemAfter upgrading to the 2019 version of After Effects (16.0.0 Build 235) and the 2019 version of Media Encoder (13.0 build 203) I am not able to render my footage in Media Encoder. It won't connect to the Dynamic Link Server.I am able to drag and drop my composition from AE to AME. But when I try to render the composition it gets stuck on 'connecting to the Dynamic Link server'.My systemMacOS Sierra Version 10.12.6Processor: 2,7 GHZ Intel Core i5Memory: 16GBVideocard: Intel Iris Pro 1536MBExtra infoIt all worked when i was using AME version 12.1.2 and AE version 15.1.2What I have tried- I tried this solution AME cannot connect to Dynamic Link Server(I looked into this further and find out this problem happens when the following conditions are both met.AE Preferences > General > "Show Start Screen at Startup" is disabledAE Preferences > New Project > "New Project loads template" is enabled) <- which didn't work for me.- I tried to install the previous version
I'm trying to find a crop setting of 1:1 ratio/proportions - but seemingly this is not possible? my Ratio list includes all but a 1:1 square. Any help GREATLY appreciated! Jeremy
I created a composition in after effects (29.97 fps) thats about 16 seconds long and is 1.9 mb. when I try to export with media encoder using h.264, high bitrate and maximum render quality, the progress and elapsed time get stuck at 1 second. I even tried to wait it out by letting it render overnight but there was no difference the next morning. Ive created several similar videos with the same formats and they have exported just fine. the only difference I can think of in this situation is that I used an extremely large amount of effects compared to my other videos. I would appreciate any help.
Hi,I have got a requirement where I need to integrate Adobe media encoder with Adobe Experience Manager. We can achieve this using command line version. How to run and convert videos in Adobe media encoder using command line.

i'm trying to upload a project from Adobe After Effects CC 2019 to Adobe Media Encoder 2019. when I click on the application, the splash screen comes up and begins loading, but after a few seconds the splash screen disappears and the actual application never comes up. i then tried to go into After Effects and move the project to Media Encoder from there (Add to Adobe Media Encoder queue), but it still refuses to open. how do i fix this?
Am on an HP Elitedesk 800 GI TWR, 16G RAM, GTX 1650, i7, Windows 10 This is an incredibly frustrating problem. Any time I try and export something I keep running into this issue where ME starts trying to exit out of the application for me out of nowhere. The message "Encoding is in progress. Are you sure you want to quit?" Comes up and when I click no it just pops up a second later, infinitely. I'm literally forced to quit. This happens just rendering a single 1080 video with the youtube preset. Happens on both GPU accelerated and software only renderer. It has been happening more often than not recently.Seems like it may be tied to another error where I am randomly signed out of creative cloud at times, even when I am in the middle of editing in premiere or something. But I'm not sure. To test this I have opened the CC app and watched it next to ME seeing if it signs me out before trying to exit, but it seems like it happens regardless of if I am still signed into CC or not. Thou
How can I figure out the exact video format of a .mov file and why ME does not recognize the video data? ME shows a dialogue that says "no video" (see attachment) when I know that there actually is. I have an old Quicktime video from a 10 year old Sony Digital camcorder that will not play video in any Adobe program. Only audio will play. I have tried ME, Bridge, Quicktime and none will recognize the video. I know that the data is there since I can play in VLC Media Player. What is going on here, why would Adobe not support something that VLC does? How can I find out exactly what the format issue is so that I can proceed accordingly?
I started a free trial of ME yesterday. It takes 5 times as long to encode the same video as when I encode directly from PP. Same settings. I have read that people get good results with downgrading to an earlier version. How can I do this? I am in the process of re-editing about 180 videos with PP. I loved thart ME could run in the background while I continue to edit another project. Although, it hardly runs. HELP!
When i queue a project from Adobe Premier to Adobe media Encoder in Encoder i see failed status and error detail is below please help me about this problem: - Source File: C:\Users\Server\AppData\Local\Temp\Nijer_1.prproj- Output File: D:\Project\Safiran-Video\Nijer\Nijer.mpg- Preset Used: Safiran-Draft- Video: 854x480, 25 fps, Progressive, Quality 65, 00:07:36:10- Audio: MPEG Audio, 384 kbps, 48 kHz, Stereo, 16 bit- Bitrate: VBR, 1 Pass, Min 4.00, Target 15.00, Max 18.50 Mbps- Encoding Time: 00:00:5202/01/2021 03:32:03 PM : Encoding Failed------------------------------------------------------------Frame substitution recursion attempt aborting after multiple attempts on file: D:\Project\Safiran-Video\Nijer\files\nijer-intro.mpgInserting black for frame number 0
I keep getting an error each time ME 2020 opens. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, changed temp directories in Preferences and nothing will solve it. It does not impact performance. But if the error pops up behind another window and I don't see it, ME will never open until I go find it and click 'OK.' It's just an annoying extra step I must always perform. I've attached the message. Anyone else having this and have a solution?
I am trying to convert my apple videos (MOV files) to MP4 so i can edit in PR pro but for some reason it only transfers audio file in MOV and so i need to convert to mp4 but when i use media encoder I transfer to h.264 and all i get is a black screen. can anyone help me with this.
How to Fast renderinglarge file Media encoder?
Hi, I've been trying to render videos from AE in AME but the encoding box just sits at "Connecting to dynamic link server" for a long time and then says "Failed" when it's timed out. I've even had trouble with projects not showing up in AME when I add them from AE using the "Add to AME button." I've tried downloading older versions of AE & AME, no luck. I've tried installing the Beta versions, still no luck. I have no plug-ins and all settings are default. Is there anything else I can do to solve this issue? Thanks!
Hi all, this is my first post. So, Adobe Media encoder keeps crashing on startup, I've already deletated/change names the config files on documents and nothing. The version is 14.8It was working before, I changed the system language and I couldnt open it again. I uninstalled and reinstalled ME aswell as Pr and AE, no thte main CC app tho.I want to use it on another computer as a "render server", I access it trhough Chrome remote desktopThanks in advance
I think this was posted here a long time ago, but I can't find a solution. I've signed out of all of the YouTube channels I usually have connected in the export dialog in Premiere, but it's not letting me log in again - I'm getting the message in this screenshot. I've tried changing my system's default browser, and restarting everything, but not getting anywhere. Any help much appreciated, thank you.
I was upscaling a video for youtube to help with compression issues. More of a see if it works experiment I exported a 4k H.264 .mp4 file to a H.265 8K in .mp4 after it was complete I was left with 2 files one .m4v and one .mp4 Is this expected or did I miss a setting in the export? Also which file should I upload?
Tonight marks the third time I've had to uninstall and reinstall Media Encoder, as it randomly decides to not allow me to import .MOV anymore. Any of my .MOVs, which work perfectly fine in other Adobe (or other) applications. This never, or rarely, happened on previous versions. What gives? Hardware:Macbook Pro (2019)macOS Catalina Version 10.15.1Processor: 2.3 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i9Memory: 16 GB 2400 MHz DDR4Graphics: Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MB
Export errorError compiling the movie.Rendering errorThe rendering process returned an error. The media encoder gives this error when 85% is missing to finish rendering. I don't know what to do anymore and I didn't find anyone talking about it. If anyone can help me thank you.
Hello, I'm having trouble with Media Encoder. For whatever reason, it is very crash prone and will not render anything. If I try to render a file, it will become stuck on "Reading XMP" and then after a few minutes crash. If I try and change the file format or any settings relating to the file it crashes. And if I leave it alone for about 2-5 minutes, it crashes. I have no idea what is causing this to keep happening.I’m using a Windows 10 PC with a AMD Ryzen 7 CPU and have 32GB of RAM. Can anyone give me some tips? I can get any of my project exported.
Hi, I'm a beginner using AME, but basically I exported a composition from After Effects to Media Encoder in a H.264 format (so it can be opened by QuickTime) and after I render it and open the video it has some glitches it looks like some frames are slower than the original ones so it makes the video look like it's in slow motion. I've already tried the different renderer options, different presets, the frame rate is compatible, etc.. I have no clue what more I can do to find a solution. It happens with all the compositions I made in After Effects.
