I have Lightroom Classic & Photoshop 2023 installed on my desktop in addition to an old version of CS6. I recently downloaded the Photoshop Beta app which I subsequently uninstalled. Now if I select Photo>Edit in Photoshop only CS6 appears in the Lightroom> Preferences > Presets > Photoshop Version dropbox. Photoshop 2023 is nowhere to be found. As a workaround, I configured the Additional External Editor to load the Photoshop 2023 .exe file. I want Lightroom to recognize Photoshop 2023 in the Photoshop Version dropbox but don't know how to accomplish this task. Would appreciate any solutions to this problem.

Thanks for the information! It's good to know that Photoshop CC and CS6 were compatible.

Appreciate your feedback. I've been hesitant to subscribe as CS6 has sufficed for my needs. I'm retired and should Adobe significantly increase subscription rates it could pose a problem. Therefore the concern regarding the possible corruption of CS6 on my computer.

I have been highly resistant to a subscription service but have finally decided to subscribe to the Photoshop. However, I still have CS6 running on my computer and have some concern that the new version may in some way interfere with my ability to run CS6. This is only important if I should decide to cancel my subscription. I would likely have difficulty reinstalling CS6 under Windows 11 as my copy is one of a series of upgrades dating back to Photoshop 6.0, and I doubt Windows 11 will install the later version. I doubt the current version of Photoshop would interfere with the operation of CS6 but I need to be sure. Can anyone help? Thanks!

I am running Windows 10 and am considering purchasing a large UHD (4K) monitor, such as the NEC PA322 UHD. The smallest I would consider would be a 27 inch monitor. Do you anticipate that I would encounter any scaling problems running Photoshop CS6 with either of these monitors? My computer is a Dell XPS 8700 desktop with an i7 processor, and a AMD Radeon R9 270 graphics card. It's clear that people who are using small laptops with UHD monitors have encountered scaling problems with Photoshop. Does anyone anticipate encountering scaling issues with larger monitors. I see that some individuals have found slow performance when using a MAC in conjunction with the PA322 UHD. Does anyone have experience using either a 27 or 32 inch UHD monitor with a PC in Photoshop? Thank you for your help. Jack McEwan

Place a 15 px spot healing brush cursor in the grey area identified by the white line - it will nearly disappear. Working on such images (this is part of a restored WWII photo) for hours at a time causes significant eye strain. A colored cursor (e.g. red) would be much appreciated.

I couldn't find a discussion group for Photoshop CS6, although the problem also likely affects Elements.

Well the spot healing brush does standout using your suggestion, but it's difficult to judge brush size with this cursor. Being able to change cursor color would solve the problem, but apparently it's not an option in Photoshop. Thanks for your help!

I have been literally been going blind trying to use the Spot Heeling Brush on gray backgrounds. I can't see the cursor! Is there some way of changing the cursor color… possibly to bright red? This problem is particularly pronounced when trying to remove artifacts affecting images of the sky in old black-and-white photos. I'm using Photoshop CS6.
