It's the last item in the list and it is clearly marked "(beta)" but to me that indicates that the feature is in beta, not that you need to install an entire beta version of Illustrator. By @glenns48213925 Agreed, some functions (like Mockup) have been 'beta' in the general release version.

Can you show your object with the 3D panel open at the graphics tab? You just click and drag to move it, so it's difficult to speculate what might be going wrong.

If you drag it back over to the top of the Illustrator window, you should see a blue highlight between the menu and the document title tab. Drop it there and it should snap into place.

Fair enough that it is only available in the Beta software, but perhaps don't list it as a feature in the standard Illustrator. That is where the confusion comes from. By @stevej61370215 Where do you see it listed as a standard feature?

There's always lots of interest in renewed chart tools in general: Improve Graph / Chart tool – Adobe Illustrator But I suspect indecision on the overall strategy for graphs has hindered specific improvements over the years. Otherwise yes, bugs and features are prioritised by community support, and specific issues with charts are unlikely to get many votes.

I wouldn't expect Expand Appearance to even be available for a blend comprising objects with basic appearance. Can you show the appearance panel for each object?

What do you see when opening the exported PDF in Illustrator? Is your layer structure still there, or is it comprised of clip groups?

That's a Photoshop command. I don't remember it ever working that way in Illustrator. Which version did you use that had that feature?

This is currently only in the Beta, so use the general release if you don't want the feature at all. But you can turn it off under Preferences > Selection and Anchor Display > Artboard Display. Edit: it's in the general release as of version 30.
