OMG I HAVE THE SAME ISSUE, how can these guys have such a horrific UX? ctrl + y is used pretty much everywere as an undo control but here, itjust messes everything up and does something that no one knows nor wants. Really these guys i feel like i wnt to ill people right now. and don't offer a way to fix it? wtf just happend to my design

It only happened to me once to be honest. i dont use that feature too much. i probably switched to the browser too fast before it disappeared and it got stucked in the screen. anyways, today i tried again and it didnt happened v 28.3.12 --- Hernan Ainsa {Personal Information Removed By MOD}

It wouldnt bother me if it wasnt because it overlays some of the right sidebar tools. making them unaccessible as you can see

Hi still trying to understand why guys at adobe implemented such horrific ux. Windows contextual menues = worst ux desicion ever. I have had this same issue in the past where the contextual menu doesnt seem to open for certain elements, and theres no clue on why. So thats it, i cant seem to open the contextual menu over a text i want to transform to path. Any clue on why could this happen? thanks

Hi all, I was finally able to install all the apps. I was having trouble at the office, installation didnt complete but today i tried at home and it worked with no issues at the first try. So Im thinking it was something probably related to some network proxy or setting at the office. Im posting this here in case someone is facing a similar issue. try in a different network. Sorry no, that was one of the firsts things i tried among many other possible solutions. I finally managed to uninstall everything (why is it so hard to remove every file of the system!), CC, Photoshop, Illustrator and XD, tried to run again the CC installer and its the same. Stucks at 35%. Ran lots of cleaners and still. Even tried to install XD on its own installer but doesnt seem to work, stucks at 17.5%. Its really unvelievable i never seen such thing. Adobe installers just dont work. Any other app installs correctly. Im driving completely crazy as im blocked in my work. Do you have a more solid and radical solution? I even contact support by email but i didnt get a response yet. i really dont want to end up formatting... 😞

Hi, Im really desperate as i already wasted so much time with this. A couple of days ago the app asked me for an update, y clicked ok then a nightmare started It doesnt seem to be able to complete the installation. it stucks always around 40% and thats it I dont understand what's happening, never had this kind of issues before. i cant uninstall anything, neither the creative cloud app nor any of the programs. it wont let me. what is happening to me now is the opposite, i want to export only one artboard for developers (selected with the 'home' icon) but all thetboards are being exported. how can i select wich ones to export or exclude the ones i dont want?

To me this is just another unhappy UX decision: To navigate the sidebar by arrow keys. its a common action for me (and i cant be the only one) to select a layer in the left side menu, and then try to move the elements position in the canvas trhough the arrow keys. Cant do that anymore, now its a nightmare, all it does is it just navigates the lef side menu. now why would i want to do that?? cant select the layer directly in the canvas because its behind another layer. i'm stuck like for the past 10 minutes trying to figure it out. please remove that feature, so frustrating. im getting tired of these horrible UX decisions.

I just don't get it. Why would you prioritize mac versions when there already is sketch for mac which is far superior to adobe xd at this time. Instead, you should focus on making the windows experience better and start growing in that market which is very open yet. you have far more chances to become the UX app for windows than for mac. Second, please dont align with that anti ux experience of the contextual menus. it's so not thought by a windows user. i cant get used to it, so unintuitive. we are all used to use top menu like 'file' 'edit' etc.. it's too standard right now, it's like trying to reinvent the wheel and make it squared just because.

The thing is, i dont understand how the undo command works here. it's not a regular undo, that's for sure. Now that i've found the option in the right click menu (very unintuitive place) it just doesnt seem to work how one would expect. Last thing that happened a couple of minutes ago was, I pressed several times ctrl + z and didnt notice any change until i realize it was undoing things in a different artboard. weird. Sometimes it undo things but not from the las thing i did. its hard to explain because it doesnt make sense. i think Adobe guys should really take a look at the whole undo process because it's very fundamental and it doesn't work well. it's the most critical thing i've found in the program. maybe a way to access the history would be great too.

it is happening for me too. No ctrl+z, no ctrl+y. also, there is no command option listed in a menu for this in case shortcuts dont work. really basic features for any program.

Finally I was able to do it! The group was in isolation mode so it wont allow me to export the asset. I just right clicked and exit isolation mode. BUT i have to do it with the object selected, otherwise it wont work. weird. seems to be a bug, why wouldn't i be able to do it inside the object?

Hi , like the title reads im not able to add an asset i need to export, into the assets panel. it's just text and png grouped. it just show a blocked icon and i cant add it. i tried to ungroup and it doesnt work either. i dont understand why? this is the first time i try this feature by the way so i might be missing something what are the possible reasons for this? i cant take a screenshot asi this is a mouse action ps: i hate this in illustrator, sometimes tools work and most of the times, you have to convert them into obscure formats, group, ungroup make outlines and whatever.. and most of the times it still wont work. so frustrating compared with photoshop, where it asks if you want to convert and that's it. ps2: as a workaround im dragging the group into photoshop and exporting as png from there 😕 but im sure there must be a better way i appreciate any response thanks

Hi, im still learning this difficult program and i really don't quite get how to work with different types of object. Sometimes it seems to work and sometimes it just doesn't. in this case what i'm trying to do is actually pretty simple. Im trying to combine objects in a way pathfinder should do just fine, but it actually throws an error 'the filter produced no results. please select two overlaping paths'. But they ARE overlaping so i'm completely lost. tried to expand shapes and didn't work. can anyone please help me with this? here's a screenshot so you can understand better:
