I did a clomplete reset of Bridge to see if that was causing the problem. But no. CF cards still work fine, but SD cards show EOS_Digital #1 and EOS_Digital #2. No difference if  I "refresh the list". The only difference is that both EOS_Digital #1 and EOS_Digital #2 show the same amount of files on the card now. I've formatted and re-formatted my SD cards using different cameras but the problem is still the same. No difference if I use SD cards formatted in 5D Mk III, Mk IV, EOS R or EOS R5. I don't think that all my SD cards should be faulty either, and I have a few. That would completely exceptional. CF cards seem to work with Photo Down Loader in Bridge 13.0.3.693 now, but there are still the same problem with SD cards, i.e. Down Loader show EOS_Digital #1 and EOS_Digital #2, with EOS_Digital #1 only showing about 25% of the files on the SD card and the files are shown to be distorted. Refreshing did nothing, still the same problem.  EOS_Digital #2 show all the files on the SD card and for me the down load was actually rather fast, to my surprise. It's nice to read that others experience the same problem I reported 3 weeks ago. I still haven't heard anything from Adobe about this, though. There is something wrong with Bridge, especially 13.0.2.636. Bridge has been dodgy since last year, too many fancy things added with too little focus on a program for professionals.  Maybe I'm lucky that still can import files from my SD-cards. CF-cards I import directly from the card. They don't show up in Photo Down loader at all. Bridge has ceased being for professionals and as a professional photographer I must be able to rely that the program to do what it should, not doing something odd with every new update.  It would be nice to see a reaction from the guys at Adobe. I've the same problem with MacOS Ventura 13.2 and Bridge 13.0.2.636, but I can read my SD cards but not my CF cards where Adobe Photo Downloader gives the "none detected" message. On the other hand – Bridge and Photo Downloader has been a bit dodgy to use the last couple of years, i.e. crashing when I delete more than 11 files, not seeing the memory cards though they can be seen on my desktop, extremely slow download etc..  I posted a message about this the other day but I haven't heard anything yet. An explanation and a fix would be appreciated, otherwise the only solution is to mark the files on my CF- and SD cards and copy them to Bridge, which goes faster than using Photo Downloader. ... Hallo there. I followed your instructions and did a reset of Bridge 11.1.1.185 and started to delete 87 pictures. It went okay for 30 pictures and then Bridge crashed. Did a reset again and deleted the remaining 38 pictures. Which worked. It's a bit of a bummer if I have to reset Bridge all the time to get rid of the problem. I can't think I'm the only one experiencing this problem, though it seems like that – it took 6 days for a reply. Isn't there anyone else out there with this problem that could give away a magic solution. But, at least, now I know how to reset Bridge. Now the problem with Photo Downloader not remembering the last folder used remains. Any one with a solution?  ... View more

I've ticked and un-ticked the box beside Bridge over and over again, ever since you had to grant permission to programs to be able to access files and folders and hard disks. But before the latest up-date of Camera Raw I was able to access all my external hard disks. Not just the latest used. As it is now, nothing I do in terms of giving permission to Bridge to access both internal and external disks or files and folders helps. Bridge Camera Raw still shows a notification that the files are not Raw files at all or that they are write protected. In Photoshop on the other hand, I can use the latest Camera Raw to access the same files as Camera Raw in Bridge refuses to recognize. So whats the problem with Bridge? Have'nt got a clue. I've done what I think I can do in terms of permissions and I stop here. I will use Photoshop to access the older hard disks even if it is a bit of a hassle. Bridge have always had complete access to all disks, both internal and external, and all files and folders too, ever since you had to grant certain programs access to certain files and folders. But I want Bridge Camera Raw to be able to access all external hard-disks, old ones and new ones. As it is now, in Bridge Camera Raw I get a notification stating that "the Camera Raw settings can't be used because there are no Raw files at all, or the files are write-protected". Yes I can see my RAW files but I can not open them in Camera Raw in Bridge. I get an error saying my RAW files are either not RAW files or they are write protected. I’ve followed Adobes instructions, i.e open Photoshop, open Bridge, quit Bridge and open Bridge again. But it does not work. I can, though, open my RAW files in Camera Raw in Photoshop but not in Camera Raw in Bridge. Thats the problem. ... View more

The templates are where they should be, but they have been rendered useless. I can not see the meaning in why Adobe had to change how the information in my templates was read, just because of an update of Photoshop. It has taken me 3 hrs. to seek, change and make the templates useful again. Too much useless information to go through before you can proceed – you actually need to set the information you want to use in your templates under the metadata settings in Bridge, again, ticking, and unticking, a lot of boxes. But I can still not set the date of the photo to be read as before, ie. the date the picture was taken. But thanks for the help. Sometime in the future I will hopefully find out how to.
