Went to try the new Reflection feature and for some reason, the Reflections Removal tool is grayed out. The little triangle says it's only for RAW images. I am using a Nikon NEF file. I work in LR and then open PS and from there open CR. What am i doing wrong? Thank you.

I'm on a Macbook Pro and recently, the three little colored dots in the upper left corner of the window is no longer visible. So, i can't 'x' out of the program or 'minimize' the program that way any longer. It is the only program or window that does not show the red/yellow/green dots now. Can someone advise on how to get this back or is the a specific change that LR has incorporated? They do show up for Photoshop. I've attached 2 screenshots. One with the dots and one without for reference. Thank you.

Sorry for the delay in response and thank you to those who responded. As it turned out it was a defective external hard drive (which proceeded to completely stop working a day later). Western Digital has now replaced the drive. I was unable to recover the data on the drive, but i had a duplicate back up so i'm ok. Thanks again. Stevo

This is really strange. I keep all my folders on an external drive. I can load one folder/catalogue and when it re-opens in LR CC classic, i can quickly click on any thumbnail and the image loads right up, but if i open this one particular folder, the thumbnails show up but if i click on any one, it takes a long time to populate. And if i then click on another thumbnail, i get the spinning beach ball. So, why would one folder or catalogue act differently than others? FYI i'm on a Macbook Pro using Mac OS Mojave Thank you. I use 2 Nikon D750 cameras. Raw image size is around 30-34mb. I have a Macbook Pro. El Capitan, OS X, Version 10. 11. 6 15" Screen. Processor: 2.3 GHz Intel Core i7 Memory: 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 And mostly my question is what has changed because everything was working smoothly before. This is a recent notice in performance.

Thanks for the feedback thus far. To clarify. I'm only moving my work folders for each show (i'm a concert photographer) off the laptop as i'm running out of space on my 1 TB SS drive. So i'm not working off the external drive, it's purely for storage after i'm done editing/exporting. I'm a paid subscriber to CC so i do have the latest 🙂 version of Classic, Photoshop, etc. (Release 7.5 and Camera Raw 10.5). I only have around 30gb of space left on my 1TB internal SS drive. As i only shoot in raw, that fills up quickly so i offload the folders once i'm done. (as mentioned above). My editing is pretty standard, with the basic tool adjustments, the adjustment brush, Crop tool, etc. But, for example this morning, I would click the adjustment brush, and then go to click on the picture and the mac beach ball would show up for a few seconds. Then if i move a slider or something, you would see a very noticable lag before you would see the shift. Normally, it's instantaneously. I only have my mac mail, a Chrome Browser and messenger running in the background. Sometimes i'll have PS open too but that doesn't seem to matter whether it's open or not. I've got about 30 GB of storage space left on my laptop and are constantly moving my finished work folders to an external drive to maintain the space. But LR seems to be lagging, (spinning colored ball) and just not working smoothly as it normally does. The rest of my mac seems to be fine, (i know LR uses more resources than most of my other stuff). Just curious if there are suggestions for fixing this. I've rebooted, but i have not 'zapped my P-Ram' or anything like that yet. Thoughts? Stevo

No, i was not able to. I ended up calling Tech Support and Anthony was able to get it sorted out. It appears that the 2 programs lost the path from one to the other. Now it works fine again. Thank you. Steven

I've been working in Lightroom Classic on my mac laptop and i normally use apple/command and 'E' to auto open Photoshop to edit an image. Just used it 2 days ago with no problem. Now, i only get an error 'beep' and it does nothing when i try to export to Photoshop. And i'm using the monthly creative cloud software and everything is up to date. What happened? Stevo

Success! It was the '/' (we don't call it a colon, ':' is a colon to us). But by changing that character, the files were 'found' again. Thank you so much for your help. Have a great holiday! Stevo

Ok, now this is interesting. The 2 photos are not found in the 'develop' section but as you can see in my screen shot, the files are there. But it is interesting that there is no 'badge' for me to click on and 'locate' the file. Hmmm.

I was downloading a handful of processed images and got the above error message. The file is definitely there and the image looks correct on the develop page. All the other images downloaded fine. There are 2 images that 'photos failed to export'. What's going on and how do i fix it? Thank you. Stevo
