I do agree its longer ones when you have many clips to do. I had about 30 clips to transcribe when the crashing started.

It happens when I create a new project and my files/project are set to auto transcribe on import - it will crash during the process after a min or so. If I cancel auto transcribe in preferences and just do it manually per clip it's fine.

I have this issue. Latest 25.1 version. I cleared caches and made a new project and it's still happening. Mac OS 15.1.1 64Gb RAM M1 Max.

For interviews and cutting a draft it would be so much easier to select transcribed text in the text pane and when you press delete key it removes this section from the timeline. If there is video linked to the audio then it cuts that as well from the timeline. I know this wont happen but it's a good way to make editing more efficient!

I must say the most recent versions of Premeire and After Effcets are possibly the most solid I have ever used ... I Sony breaks in the links anymore. I did reinstall my whole machine including the OS though and started from scratch.

I actually wiped my iMac and reinstalled everything including the OS. Seems to be working well actually. Not the workaround people want to hear but it has worked for me.

I totally agree with Mary. It’s not about just using third party plug ins which always have bugs and don’t work seamlessly with the software. This needs to be fixed in Premiere. This includes consolidating after effect sequences, nested sequences and effects used. Which is compatible with different versions of both Premiere and After Effects. I want to be able to finish a job, put in a library and come back to it years after with minimal of issues.

The Project Manager needs a complete overhaul. The navigation is awful, slow and confusing for large scale projects. You cannot include nested sequences when selecting one timeline. You cannot choose to render nested sequences like you can with After Effects. The ability to render all effects (audio and video) before consolidating. Hope we can see major improvements in the future.

Agreed! Things like auto framing are just gimmicky features. I just want a solid Premeire and give us features we actually want like improved Project Manager, ability to render and replace clips with effects and nested clips, ProRes RAW, seamless dynamic linking (at the moment it isn't seamless and after effects sequences go offline if you switch programs) etc etc And make it stable and bug free

Same here I had a look and didn't see it. Nor is there anything about random currito frames on exporting normal footage with M1 systems. Woukd be nice to have a more thorough list 🙂
