Where is this Stair Step option/window? UPDATE: Found it. I didn't realize "Type" was an option up top, and thought you were referring to the Type Tool, which also has a "Type on a path" sub selection. (oh Adobe....*sigh*)

Answering my own question: I think it's because the package name gets appended with -1 . It's then a whole different sandbox for the files and data. 😞

We recently released a 64bit version of our app (while keeping the 32bit version there for older devices). Players are complaining they've lost their save-games. Has anyone experienced this? Does the "LocalSharedObject" path change between Arm7 APK and Arm8 ????

And now, Adobe went and removed that legacy option!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks a lot Adobe. On top of hiking up prices, Adobe Fonts breaking, threatening your customers about illegal use of older software, etc... really makes me happy.

A system reboot fixed the problem. The problem was a Windows OS-level issue with drag n drop of elements. Thank you and apologies to all who attempted to help in this thread.

I don't have a tablet. So a mouse is all I've been using. I was just saying settings related to that might have been accidentally enabled. However: I just discovered the same drag n drop problem happening now in my email client. So this appears to be an OS level issue (Windows Explorer most likely). A reboot is in order but I've got a massive file-copy in progress (most likely what "broke" windows explorer, but I need to let it finish the job before I reboot).

I installed the newest version of Photoshop. It crashed on start-up, so I re-installed build 20.0.4. It reset all my preferences. Problem still exists. I read somewhere that a Wacom tablet can cause this problem, but I don't have a tablet connected. Where are settings related to tablets and drawing pens?

Hey folks. I'm a long-time Photoshop user, fairly advanced as far as basic use goes...or so I thought? Today I hit a key or combination of keys by accident (somewhere in the upper left of my keyboard) and now my Move Tool no longer drags layers around. If I press LMB and drag, the Move tool changes from being a black triangle with the cross symbol, to just being a black triangle pointer. (So, clearly the system is turning off move when I try to move). I've tried Resetting the tool, making sure Auto-Select is off, and checking other related settings. And I've read this post: Can't move layers BUT THAT'S NOT ALL! No, Also, in the Layers window, I can no longer drag a layer down to the trash bin, or other icons at the bottom. I am used to dragging down there to delete a layer, or duplicate a layer (by dragging it to the layer creation icon). What happens now instead is the layer will move as far as the very bottom layer and then the little "grab" hand icon will suddenly change to a regular mouse pointer and the layer I was dragging gets "dropped" as the bottom-most layer. What this tells me is the problem is NOT a "Move Tool" problem, but something else affecting drag & drop. HELP! How do I get my old workflow back?! PS build 20.0.4 Windows 10, 64 Bit

You may want to even alert higher-up people that many of us subscribe to Adobe CC in order to get access to Photoshop + Animate. If AIR disappears from Animate, some of us will downgrade to Photoshop only subscriptions. So there is a financial incentive to keep this small but important feature in Animate. thanks for your consideration.

I got this response after uploading to itunesConnect: Invalid architectures - This app has invalid architecture, and may have been built with invalid build settings or incompatible tools. Try rebuilding the app with the latest Xcode version. If you are using third party development tools, contact the provider. I guess that's it then. Adobe Air is dead to me for iOS now, since my ANEs stopped being supported too (all MilkManGames ANEs... a developer that Adobe used to promote and possibly help out financially, but I guess Adobe abandoned him and now he doesn't update them anymore).

Yes, I had filed the FP bug before discovering this thread. So I linked to it anyways. Anyways, I think it helps for a large company like Adobe to pressure Mozilla to fix this rather than just individuals trying to pressure Mozilla to fix (we have way less leverage as individuals unless we are numerous).

I just wanted to report that I'm experiencing the same with Flash Player 32.0.0.114 (both release and debug) in Firefox Quantum 64.0.2 (64-bit), on Windows 10 Home 64 bit. I then just updated to Firefox 65.0 (64-bit) and the same issue persists. It happens with Flash games that have existed unchanged for many many years, as pointed out above. The error shown through the debug player is: Error: Error #2130: Unable to flush SharedObject. I filed a bug here: Tracker Thanks.

Photoshop 20.0.1 Windows 10 I have Snap turn on. Snap To has all items checked (so, that includes Guides) I have two guides on the document. I drew a small test shape using paintbrush on a layer. It's not a smart layer and it's not a smart object. I do CTRL-T to transform I scale up/down across the guides and the bounding box does not snap to the guide. It smoothly goes "through" it without any snap. If I Hold shift key, then it snaps.

In this day and age, on Windows, it is common to have a smaller SSD drive as primary (C:) and then use a traditional mechanical HDD drive as D:. Windows 10 even provides this wonderful option of "moving" an installation from one drive to another with a single click. Very nice, though not all apps support this of course. So, Adobe Creative Cloud does it a different way. We have to launch ACC, go to Preferences and change "Install Location". (oh and you have to uninstall an app first, there is no "moving" the app.). OK fine, what am I leading up to? I'll get to the point: If one had changed the Install Location from "Default" to something else like D:/Apps/Adobe, HOW do we then put it BACK to default? Right now you have NOT built in a method to reset that installation path to your default. I want to set mine back, but WHERE is "default"? Should I guess? I don't want to do that. Please fix this.

I've already done that, I uninstalled Dreamweaver then ran the cleanup tool. But the cleanup tool didn't even list Dreamweaver since it was already uninstalled! Or do you mean uninstall Creative Cloud? I'd like to know what IMSHELPER.DLL is for, because here is the SOLUTION I came up with: In "/Program Files (x86)/" I searched for all copies of IMSHELPER.DLL I then renamed all 4 copies of IMSHELPER.DLL that were found, to IMSHELPER.DLL.TMP I ran Dreamweaver. No crashes. Thank you. whatever this "helper" dll is for, I shall find out after I get my work done!

The command that page says to run wouldn't run. I got back Error 87 Additionally, what I don't understand with your suggestion is that imshelper.dll is an ADOBE file, not a Windows system file, would that still fix it? Note, Adobe has 4 copies of this file in different locations...

I don't know what Lavasoft or Bins are, so presumably I don't have either. (I'm the only user of this system, use Photoshop every day without issue). I am beyond frustrated. Experiencing the same problem and it doesn't matter what I do to try and rectify the situation: Windows 7 Home (legit, all up to date) Tried Dreamweaver 2018, 2017, 2016, 2015 etc... Tried uninstalling, restarting computer, using the clean up tool, etc. NOTHING WORKS. Fresh installs still launch, then crash. Tried running as administrator, and all it did was take longer to launch and crash. I need this app to work! I am paying for it!

I'd like to further update the story here... I've discovered that part of the problem here is if the URL to your SWF is bad, the damn install badge shows up INSTEAD of it showing a blank plugin window like it normally would. (You know, the one where if you right-click, it says "movie not loaded" at the top.)
