No, Face Detection is disable and Sync whit cloud is disable. I repeat, I use Mac (iMac 5K 2017, CPU i7 4.2 ghz 32 GB Ram and Radeon Pro 580 8GB GPU) and after a test with Activity Monitor, the CPU and GPU levels are very high, the Mac overheats, the fans start and everything Slows. It is an excessive consumption to be used with Lr Furthermore, by creating a new catalog or using Jpg instead of Raw, consumption is always very high. Hello Akash Sharma, I also noticed a decline in performance, indeed from version 7.0 there was a decline in performance. The most common problems are an excessive consumption of CPU power and a very low use of the Graphic Processor by Lr...why??? I use an iMac 27 "5k 2017 with Intel i7 quad-core and an 8GB GPU with 32 GB of RAM and I noticed many lag with the brush, especially after inserting Sharpening Noise reduction and Remove Cromatic Aberration ... which is also normal, but absurd that it happens. Also the Lag using the Crop, which appears for a few moments the previous image and then the current one to be modified. But above all the excessive use of CPU that I do not see justified for the type of work that Lr performs. I use various loopholes to avoid these delays and I'm not complaining, but anyway there are and it is useless to deny it. True!! My version is very slow. Previously version of Lightroom render good...it's slow now. When I use "Remove Profile Correction", for example, takes 3/4 seconds before redering image.
