My Work Around! Been doing it for a while. Make sure entire sequence is rendered. Then go to File/Project settings/General and change renderer to software only. And then it will export using previews that is if yout previews are rendered to the same codec you're exporting to. When finished switch it back to Mercury Playback Engine. Also, the make sure entire sequence is rendered before switching to software only is important, B/C if a portion of a clip is rendered and you finsih rendering it in software only there will be a color shift Mid Clip. Just updated to 15 today and noticed some bugs while trying to edit.
1) When using the slip tool it's hard to see where your slipping to. Normally the preview monitor shrinks to 2 small side by side previews and as you slide you can see the new in and out point. Now, when using the slip tool the preview screen strobes really bad and a full sized image strobes over the top of the two as well....
2) I use the audio effect "fill right with left" and vice versa often. Now if I open an old project in v15 or copy and paste a clip with the effect on it into a v15 project, the effect switches to the opposite. EXAMPLE: in a v14 project the audio clip will have "Fill right with left" on it, and opened or copied in a v15 project it will switch to "Fill left with right".

if render max depth is selected in export settings and/or sequence settings. uncheck it and see if that works... Appears to be a glitch

Before it looked like this.... Couldn't see the image underneath. But once I unchecked maximum bit depth in both sequence and export settings. It acted correctly (as seen in previous response) in both timeline and x-ports.

I've noticed premiere 2019 blacking out alpha if.... 1. Export settings have render at maximum depth selected, and or 2. Sequence settings have Maximum Bit Depth selected.... Simply deselect these... It worked on mine... In previous versions having these selected didn't black out alpha.
